Stitch [12 Jan 2008|11:23am] purpleponyart This week's Illustration Friday is a reminder to do something I've been meaning to do. At my old job, I had craploads of free time. I also thought I would become a cross-stitch designer. I love cross-stitch heart and soul, but darn if I can complete anything. So here I have all these patterns that I made but I didn't get around to making models of, and was too paranoid to put on the web (I'm looking at you, pattern piggies!). Here is an actual pattern that you can stitch if you care too - I did get halfway through making the model, but wasn't able to complete it. Why? What's wrong with me? Am I doomed to be like my Great-Aunt Jo and leave half-finished projects behind? :-) I will be adding this pattern to the patterns section of my website. Horizon [28 Dec 2007|04:17pm] slavezombie Once in a while, I'll draw something that I'll link to IL, but usually it's only coincidental that the IL 'word' will be remotely related to what I draw. I can't seem to draw something I like in relation to the IL word. Although my cartoons seem corny as it is, they are doubly corny when I try to make up something related to the Friday word. And as always, I'm always late. This was probably a cartoon I would've linked to IL if I had drawn it yesterday. post comment

Visitors [24 Aug 2007|11:49pm] paradisacorbasi ( 1980s ) Dedicated to Popcorn, the burmese albino snake who was killed by a malicious child yesterday. She wasn't my snake, she was an acquaintance whom I met at the premiere of Snakes on a Plane last year. She was a very sweet snake who'd had a very hard life up until that point. And her owner brought her around to try to show people that snakes weren't necessarily all vicious monsters like most movies portray them. 4 comments|post comment
