This joke can probably be traced back to ashen_red and my baby sister, albeit Mark I referred to Transformers. Mark II, however, is almost completely nemkess's fault - we were talking about how sweet the w-inds. trio appear at first glance and, well....
The original icon concept (short version):
Unfortunately, that's too big for use with journals (and it's not even the full-length version that was running around in my head). This didn't stop me from making a whole shitload of icons. And the scary thing is I'm not done, either.

And LORD hide saw the light and declared it was hideous (being rather unflattering and unforgiving florescent) and changed it to rose-colored incandescence. Thus satisfied, LORD hide declared the rest of the week a personal holiday and set his underlings to work finishing creation.
To Yoshiki He gave the work of building the ground and Yoshiki was pleased, for thus was he able to create his beloved floor.
To Takanori He gave the work of collecting the waters and Takanori was satisfied, for thus came his beloved oceans and rivers and lakes and streams.
To Gackt He gave the work of forming the firmament and Gackt was smug, for he knew his place was amongst the stars.
To Kaoru and to Die He gave the work of seeding the earth with all manner of growing things and they were annoyed, for thus began the evils of cashews.
To Hyde He gave the work of populating the earth and the oceans and the air with all things that walk and crawl and fly and swim. And because this was such a large task, He gave to Hyde three companions: Tetsu, Ken, and Sakura. And they created a great many things, some better considered than others.
And finally, to Keita He gave the work of creating Man and Keita was awed by the task set before him. And later, all learned why such things should not be left in the hands of the very young.
When all these things were done, LORD hide looked out on His creation and deemed it ... satisfactory. But there was something missing. And so He turned to the quietest of His minions and spake thus: "Yukihiro, see below the things your companions have made? There is earth to walk upon, oceans to swim in, stars to light the night. All manner of plants and animals (and humans) do fill this wonderous place. And yet do you not agree something is missing?"
And Yukihiro looked down on the earth and agreed with his LORD. "The music they make is not enough. If You would allow, I will go down and show them the way of the techno remix."
LORD hide smiled and deemed this wise. And thus did He send Yukihiro to walk among Man and teach the ways of techno and of hip hop, of industrial and of club, of house and of trance. LORD hide saw these works and declared it good.
