In all seriousness, here's a LJ Community for any and all fans of the character Abe Sapien, from 'Hellboy'; as well as the super-sweet and all around nice guy actor who portrays him, Doug Jones.

Obsessed? Mildly obsessed? Curious? This is the place.

This community is both Comicverse, Movieverse and Cartoonverse friendly.

Rules of the House
* Please keep all fan content to a PG-13 (or an equivalent thereof if you live in another country) rating. I'd like to keep this community as Safe For Work as possible.

* MARK ALL SPOILERS. This is absolutely imperative for the upcoming 'Hellboy II'. Keep 'em all under a cut with prior warning.

* Don't start fights. I MEAN it. If you start a fight over some issue (like slash, How David Hyde-Pierce is a better voice for Abe than Doug/vice versa or whatever), BOTH parties involved in the fight (the instigator and the person who escalates the fight) will be given a temporary/week-long ban from the community. I seriously hope I don't have to do this, so PLEASE play fair with one another.

* Also, no character bashing allowed. Come on people, you're all grown-up and -hopefully- mature enough to know that you shouldn't waste your energy on hating a fictional character.

* Did I mention 'No Spoilers/Place all spoilers under a LJ cut'?

* Since this community is also for fans of Doug Jones, fan art of any non-Abe characters he has portrayed (i.e. Silver Surfer from the F4 movies, Pan from 'Pan's Labyrinth') is considered on-topic. (Besides, Dougie loves getting art too!)
