Misc: How to credit!
My first ever tutorial to be posted here and it's concerning crediting! Ridiculous really. And be grateful that I didn't swear in the images above. I've seen other tutorials and they had swearing all over, because, like me I am sick of people not giving credit and NOT just for icons, but for textures/brushes/gradients/etc. Grrr.
First of all, you must have the XColibur LJ browsing theme in use. To check if it is in use, go here to check. If not, click on the image under XColibur and then you're all set.

Click on Manage!

On the right side of your browser, look for User Picture Icons.
Under that, there's a link that says Upload and Manage Your User Picture Icons. Click it!

You will go to another page and on the top it'll say Edit User Pictures.

We're still on the same page. It'll show your current userpics under the heading.
For free accounts, there are SIX (6) userpics.
For early adopters, there are SIX (6) userpics. (?)
For paid accounts, there are FIFTEEN (15) userpics or either a HUNDRED (100) userpics if you bought the extra userpics option.
For permanent accounts, there are a HUNDRED (100) userpics.
I have 100 userpics at the moment, so that's why that image above is showing more than six. Anyways, there will be TWO (2) text boxes on each individual icon. In Keywords, type in whatever that will describe your icon. In Comments, I usually put the icon's maker's username and a copyright symbol. Yes, I actually DO leave credit...unlike some people here. *grumble*

Click that! It's under all of your icons.

The page will then be refreshed and everything's good to go! Copy and paste http://www.livejournal.com/allpics.b ml?user=YOURUSERNAMEHERE to a new window of your web browser (PLEASE REPLACE YOURUSERNAMEHERE!). It then will show how your userpic page will look like and that is WHERE I check if you have my icons or even OTHER icon's maker's icons credited.
If you have any questions or ANYTHING, please comment on this entry. And no, I am NOT being too rude. I'm so sick of seeing people with NOT THEIR OWN ICONS being used and at the same time, they do NOT credit the maker whatsoever. And what is the use of having three icons uploaded when you don't know which is which? Yes, people do NOT put keywords to distinguish their icons that they have uploaded.
