Advertise your icon contests here. Stillness, animation, any subject. Post banners, link buttons, whatever you like.
As with any community there are a few rules. Nothing unreasonable however.
1. If you post banners, please use common courtesy. If it is large, please use a cut.
2. Absolutely NO flaming of anyone for any contest promotion.
3. You do NOT have to join to promote here, however, you may join if you wish.
4. You may only promote ONCE per week. That means only ONE time every seven days. If I see ads being displayed here more than once a week, I will delete them. You will also be banned from promoting here again. This was edited on June 12th 2006 Please make note of it.
5. When promoting, make sure you have either the name of the community or a button of some kind with a link back to it and a brief description of what sort of icons your community does. (I.e. animations, stills, themes, fandoms, etc)
6. Make sure that each entry has a subject posted in the subject line.
Anyone breaking any of the rules will result in a warning first and then a banning. I hate to have to do that since this is for everyones enjoyment. So lets all get along :)
Pretty simple right? Alright then, since you have read the rules and such...feel free to promote.
Check back often to see what advertisements there are.
Update: I made this unaware of ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) icontest_promo, I am in no way wishing to step on anyones toes here. You can never have enough promotion for your icon contests though right?
