Welcome to IconFuse_, the upcoming Icon Addict community.

IconFuse_ offers a weekly icon challenge as well as icon tutorials, help, requests, and free icons.

IconFuse_ posts are automatically friends only, therefore, you must join the community to participate. Sorry, but I must protect my icons as well as others.

Our memories hold the tutorials and other important posts, please check them before asking any questions. Thanks.



In order to post to IconFuse_, you must first gain posting access, you can do this simply by commenting on the public entry after you have read through this introduction.

Each post must be specified into a category. Available categories are Icons (Linkware, Shareware), Question, Request, and Tutorial as well as a few Admin Only post categories. When posting, place the appropriate category header at the top of your post and then lj-cut the rest of your post.

If your post does not fit in one of the categories, then state the subject of your post and then lj-cut it. The only posts which will NOT be lj-cut are Admin Posts which includes the weekly Community Challenge, even then, they may be cut.

Posts that do not fill this format will be deleted. Sorry, but I don't have time to deal with that shit.

Posts with Requests will be filled by various members of the community, as well as Icon Request Mods. Multiple people may fill your request to give you a selection.

Posts with Icons should be respected. If you take icons from someone who shares, please remember to give credit where it is due. If you post icons, throw in your credit-ing requirements aka how you would like any users to credit you for the icon if they choose to take it.



IconFuse_ Challenges are weekly icon challenges. How it goes:

Every Monday a theme is given. You have until Saturday at 12am Central Time to post your icons for the Challenge. Voting will commence Saturday & Sunday until 12pm Mountain Time on Sunday. The Winner will choose the next challenge theme.

Post your icons as a comment to the Challenge Post. Use this template when posting:
  • Name: (your name, not your username)
  • Icons: (insert icon images here)
  • Theme: (if you win, what do you want next week's theme to be)

    You may enter three icons for each challenge.

    If, for some reason, you cannot post a url to your Challenge entry, email it to me at sublesilence@stilllifetracer.com with the subject of IconFuse_.

    All Challenge related posts are added to the memories here for easy access.
