I recently added this add-on to Firefox that enables color management because of issues I've had with Photoshop CS4 and my browser, and since that affects what icons look like, I got curious and decided to take a poll.

I was planning on picspamming the whole episode, but I got lazy. In the meantime I decided to picspam one scene from the episode, just because. No preview because of spoilers (and because it's kinda short).

I've been thinking about people who leave feedback in icon journals (whether it's just 'taking #5, thanks!' or 'these are pretty!' or 'ew, these suck') when responding to comments, and was curious about how they prefer to be responded to, so I thought I would do a poll.

Personally, I like getting feedback because I like to know what people like or don't like as much. Even though I primarily make icons because it's fun (and sometimes challenging if the cap is difficult to work with), I also make them to share with other people as well (otherwise, what would be the point of having an icon journal?). If people respond with longer comments than just 'taking, thanks!' it seems appropriate to say something in response. If people do just say, 'taking, thanks'- which is fine too, of course- on one hand it seems rude not to respond, but on the other hand it might get annoying seeing 'you're welcome' (or something to that effect) if the person leaving feedback is just being polite. So basically I just wanted to know what you all thought.

Finally- an update. I'm hoping these don't look too weird. I finally got used to using my Mac and it broke, so I made these on (someone else's) PC while it was being fixed. Not a whole lot of different fandoms this time. I made Grey's Anatomy icons, which I never thought I'd do again. I am thinking of doing requests soon, just because. Also, I've decided I'm actually going to respond to people who comment. I didn't before because I thought it would seem insincere, but I'm kind of over that. I do appreciate when people comment, so I might as well show it.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I was on hiatus from icon-making because my computer is being fixed. I'm using someone else's right now and recently got Photoshop. Unfortunately the icons I was going to post won't be posted for awhile, but I'll be able to make new ones in the meantime. :)

Wow, three months! Some of these have been sitting on my harddrive for awhile, so that is why there is such a varying degree in quality. I'm not sure how I feel about all of these, as I was trying out different things, but some of these I'm quite proud of. Also, a few of these are partly inspired by blindbeats, echoism and emmahyphenjane (keyword being inspired- I'm hoping they don't look like copies or anything!). Next batch I plan on iconning some new and/or different fandoms, and I will hopefully be updating much sooner than three months.
