I dont know if this is what we are allowed to post here, But this was starting to annoy me.
I am using PSP9 and I downloaded a few brushes. Whenever I try to import them, It says a brush of that name already exists, But I dont have the same brush anywhere, and I've tried to change the name of the brush, But now ALL of the brushes I have dont work. Help?

I'm wondering how to get the white border to be transparent.
I did it once, but now I forget how. =(

I was just wondering, what are your thoughts and feelings on putting text onto icons? Sometimes I'm not so sure, especially when you can't actually read the text! To text, or not to text? Thanks!

Does anyone have any general tips on making an image look like an aged photograph? Overexposed and blurry, right? How do I do an effect that makes it look like there's a burned hole/discoloration in the image? Also, does anyone know any good brushes or sienna gradients for this? Finally, does anyone know any "old-timey" (1900-1940) looking fonts? I have PS7.

hi everyone.i've been noticing many of the tutorials lately have the desaturate thing as a part of them,and they're always for PS.I'm wondering where is such option in PSP8?Sounds a bit dumb - I know - but i've looked it and can't find it!

I looked in memories for a while and I couldn't seem to find anything about this, but if it is in memories and I happened to miss it, feel free to throw stuff at me.

Okay, so here's my problem. I use PS 7 and I'm pretty new at it as far as making/editing icons and such are concerned. So, I know very little about gradients, brushes, etc...

But I know even less about textures. I've seen some textures that I want to use and I know how to save them and everything, I just don't know how to install them. I looked through a lot of tutorials and I looked all over PS and I checked a couple websites and there's nothing that I understand. So, could someone please help me? Sorry if it's a dumb question = /

Oh, and while I'm on the subject, could anyone else explain why when I download some brushes/gradients it won't let me install them? Like, I go to 'load' and I choose the file that I downloaded and there's nothing there. I know there's a lot about this in the memories, but I figured that since I'm here... I mean, if you could just post a link to a helpful tutorial I'd greatly appreciate it.

I use Windows Movie Maker to screencap for my icons. Recently my computer was fixed, so alot of things got wiped out. Now, all the movie clips I had ripped to my PC are not playing. I need a codec. Problem is, I don't know which one.

I have Media Player 9 and the codec required for it. Still isn't working. Help?

I've only found one version of it and it wasn't it. I've looked in alot of places and couldn't find it.
