Challenge #2x03, on Dreamwidth.

I have Dreamwidth invite codes to give away, so post your email address here if you want one (posts are screened).

I have made new community on Dreamwidth (http://icon-style.dreamwidth.org/) in the hope that we can get some fresh blood, and a co-mod. If you don't already have a Dreamwidth ID, sign up with an OpenID (and confirm an email address) before the 30th of April, and that will get you an invite code for Dreamwidth. Then you can join the comm there. If you hate me for this... well, the alternative was to go on indefinite hiatus.

Challenge #18 got only one entrant besides me. This is not feasible.

This community has not reached critical mass. It's been the same four or so people participating in challenges, and while you've all been terrific, of course it is understandable that you can't always participate. Unless we can get fresh blood in this community, there's really not much point in continuing. The obvious way of getting fresh blood is to promote the hell out of this community, but I don't have the time to do that. I'm quite happy to keep on running challenges (I certainly haven't run out of ideas) but we NEED a "publicity officer". Please? Someone?

Welcome to challenge #18, "Contours". For this challenge, each icon you make must look like map contours; that is, a finite number of colours, looking as if it was made with a vector program like inkscape (well, you could use inkscape if you wanted to, too!)

Hello everyone! Welcome to a new month.
This month I have decided to do something different. In celebration of the number 3, and because I feel like it, I am declaring this month an "amnesty" month. What is an amnesty month? That is where there is no challenge given for that month, but you can go back and try out any of the previous challenges, and post your icons here for us to see and enjoy.

See the themes tag for an easy list of all the previous challenge themes. Post your icons in a comment to this post. Post as many as you like, just say which challenge's theme each one is for. Comments will not be screened. Feedback is encouraged. This is a month to hang loose, experiment, try out those ideas you didn't have time to do before.
