Sorry, STILL no more icons. Totally have not had time on account of first: school and then: preparing for my rapidly-approaching month-long vacation. That said...

Even though it's basically already started, I am here to officially begin my iconning hiatus, as I am going on a month-long vacation (yay!) and will return to the world of iconning no earlier than the end of July.

Now, a quick going-away present(??) for y'all... an idea shamelessly stolen from meivocis, who said I needed to do it. A look back at all my icons, from the first hideous ones off the press (feel free to mock... in fact, please do) to the most recently posted (would prefer less mocking on those). No talking, just tons of icons.

9thsymphony requested a tut for this icon from my last post. I had a bit of spare time, so I decided to go for it instead of just being a slacker and posting the .psd like I usually do.

As always, do not copy this exactly (with or without the same cap) and post as your own. This is meant to give technique pointers only; it is not meant to be a template.

I'm still working on another batch of icons from the not-really-requests posts, but I made some other stuff in the meantime. The last two icons in this post are from caps from that post, though... both from burymyregret. The other 8 Supernatural icons are from "The Rapture," which means there's some tiny spoilers (I guess) if you haven't seen it yet.

Note: This was inspired by me and angeliquesg trying to think of the single most evil and depressing ending humanly possible for Supernatural. I don't know if I actually managed that, but needless to say, it ain't a happy romp. Also, this started out as a drabble. heh. (it did kind of stay in my drabble writing style, though, so hopefully you can still follow it)

First off, thank you for giving me so many caps (not to mention giving me the chance to work with fandoms I normally would never get to) in my request post!

That said, THERE ARE MORE ON THE WAY! I got so many awesome caps that I decided to just do more than one post. On that note, feel free to keep giving me more caps until at least my next post, which will probably be a while off yet. Also, so many people gave me Legend of the Seeker caps that I do believe I have enough for an entire post of just that.

Now, again, these are not regular requests, so they are free for all, but I did list who gave me caps for what at the bottom.

I need some inspiration; I'm in an icon-making rut. I can't seem to make more than a few icons that I actually like.

I've realized what I need is some variety!

Bright colored pictures! Ones with lots of pretty, or just lots of awesome... or both! Just gimme links, and I'll take as many as I can get :D

I don't care what fandom they're from, or whether they're high or low quality. Just make sure and tell me what they are if you've never seen my icon the fandom before.

I should make it clear that these are not requests per se, meaning I will probably not use every image I get, nor will I necessarily make an icon for every individual that gives me caps. But I will try to get as many in as possible!

Notes: This isn't the first vid I've ever made, but it is the first time I'd touched a vidding program in about four or five years, so I decided to do a short little vid to practice the basics and get used to the program. I also had an insane desire to do something with the pretteh that is Legend of the Seeker. This was the result.

(And yes, I know it's really spelled "Percuss," but it was spelled wrong on the album I got. Apparently some people can't spell.)
