Welcome to Icon Crack! This is an elite challenge community for all fandoms. It is by invitation only, to become a member you must apply and be judged. We will only accept people whose icons are unique, creative and of a high standard. The whole point is so that members are competing against the best!
We are not trying to be elitist in the bad sense of the word. We only want to create a place where people can strive to participate at. However if your application is not successful or you don't feel you are ready to join you can still watch the community and learn.
Not only will there be challenges every week, but every 4 weeks a member of the month will be chosen and they will be the only ones who can post in that week. They will post tutorials, tips, their favorite icons made by themselves and others and much more.
Challenges
- There will be a challenge set every week by the mods and the members will post their entries in a new post in the community.
- There will be mainly icon challenges but also banners, wallpapers, joint icon challenges and more!
Rules
- All fandom and actors are allowed to be entered unless otherwise stated.
- Challenges will run from Sunday pm till Saturday am when voting will be posted. Times will very as myself (![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) misstress_tink), likegunfire and detoxcocktails are in different time zones.
- Members and non members can vote.
- You may only enter one entry unless otherwise stated
- Do not post spoilery icons (even under a cut)
- When applying, make the subject of the post "the sock gap" so we know you've read the rules. Apply to THIS POST ONLY
Just to be clear; if you aren't accepted to this community don't bitch about us or to us. We're not elitest bitches, we're just trying to create something that people can enjoy and strive towards. Our opinons are our own, we're not saying we're better than you. I have ten other non elitist challenge communities so don't think I'm being evil. We just wanted to create something different and new.

You may be wondering why its called Icon Crack? Well you may not but I thought I'd say anyway! Basically I was looking for a good name for an elite challenge, didnt like the word elite, looked up synonyms for it and found crack. I thought it was rather amusing and I do feel like icon making is a drug, so... tada!
