AboutThis community has been built for the amusement of members of the Society for Creative Anachronism (www.sca.org) through creating humorous captions for photos taken at SCA events or that are about SCA life.
This is a concept inspired by the popular I Can Haz Cheezburger series (www.icanhazcheeseburger.com), however it is in no way, shape, or form affiliated with this web site or its creators.
Additionally, this is NOT an official SCA community, and therefore the content is not regulated by Society-level presonnel. While the moderators and posters of this community may be members of any particular SCA group, this is not meant to be any kind of direct representation of them. The SCA is not responsible for the contents of this community.
POSTING RULES:
1. Only post your own photographs, or those you have permission to post publicly.
2. If your photograph is not your own, please credit the photographer.
3. Public domain photographs and artwork may be used.
4. Keep it tasteful, keep it fun.
5. Do not insult or otherwise defame any one person, group of people, SCA groups, or similar persons.
6. Please stay on-topic: stick to SCA-related photos and humor.

If you do not think you have the software to add captions to your event photos, think again! All you need is a standard Paint program. Most of them allow you to add text. Simply caption your photo, save it to your computer, and upload the image to the community!
Feel Like Sharing?
By all means, if you have a photo of your own possession that you would like to share with the community, post a blank! That way everyone can have a chance to caption your photo. By posting a blank photo to this community, you are granting members your permission to use it. If your blank is found to be an uncredited copy by another photographer or artist, and that you have misled the community to believe it was yours, you will be banned from the community.
