God, it's been ages. I have more that I ought to post, but here are a few brushes I did this afternoon. The stardust ones are fantastic, if I might be so bold to say... really very useful, and nice brushes. I've seen them on graphics a lot but couldn't find any, so I made some stardust for myself and was so pleased with the results that I decided to post. The grunge is a combination of rough paper, some other brushes that I've made, and a few effects. The brushes turned out suprisingly... grungy and I've already used a few making textures. More on those later.

It's been a nice, quiet day. These brushes took me a while, though, and were fun... but when everything has to be new and different, it's difficult! ^_^ I'm not being entirely serious, obviously, but these were a bit more time consuming than the light dots, so it would be nice to get some definite credit. Also, I may miss a load of comments; I'll be offline for quite a while this weekend... but I'll be sure to respond when I get back. Enjoy!

Well, no news on those icons, so I suppose I shan't be making any. I actually fixed up something with a few of these new tiny light dot textures... they're just so fun. I swear, I was like a little kid with too much confetti -- and I know I'm going to make more of these, even if I don't end up posting them. More news on life and such in my personal journal... I'll save that for over there and spare downloaders the trials of my life which I admit are few. So... the resources:

I seem to drift between leaving far too much time between updates and far too little. I'm about to leave to go on a short walk, but decided to add to the pattern and update after less than 24 hours have passed. These were made last night, are useful (I tried out both sets a bit and might post the icons later), and aren't very large. In fact, I think there are only 25 radial light dots here, if I remember correctly. Anyway, here they are. I'll probably be coming out with some actual new things within the next week, and I'm open to suggestions as always. A question, too.


Would an icon batch be wanted by anyone? I haven't made much in the way of graphics lately and want to keep up my skills, but will probably just make a few sets or web headers and take a request or two.

It's been quite a while, but I'm hoping to come out with some new things in the next few days, which is always a good thing. Light textures are good fun and all, but now that I've made over 100, I feel that it might be almost time to consider the possibility of moving on to something different. Then again, I could be wrong -- it's quite possible that I shouldn't even begin to contemplate other resources... I'm hoping I'm right. Anyway, if you have anything in mind, please let me know what you'd like to see me offer. Very much appreciated, thanks. That's about it for now. ^_^

Yes, just one image pack this time, but I've been a bit busy, what with making new friends, keeping the old, and attempting to remain sane while I study for my AP exam. It's nice -- this year, I only have one, but next year, I'll have 4. I suppose I shouldn't be so stressed... but in all my spare moments of computer time, I've been too busy relaxing and talking with friends to actually make graphics. Anyway, here's a set that I think will hold everyone over until I make those large masks, which I've started on.

Although I hinted at the possibility of some larger masks for my next update, it looks like we'll have to wait until next time... or the time after... or perhaps even later. I'm quite proficient at putting these things off. If you hadn't noticed, I haven't put out any icon batches yet (although I actually have made quite a few -- most were just lost in my unfortunate computer crash), and although I'm not promising anything... it's always possible. Anyway, I think that what I have here is far more useful than a couple of large textures -- light textures and masks? Incredible!

Okay, okay. I had a pleasant, relaxed day today, and I didn't deserve such a nice break from reality, but definitely enjoyed it. No promises on an upate tomorrow -- I have a study group at a nice little cafe and then a not-so-practice-ish practice AP test, which should be horrid. I suppose that's what I get for not studying! ^_^ Ah well -- resource making is so much more rewarding than outlining history chapters... funny, that.

Well, as promised, I managed to take a break from the icon textures, fun as they have been to play around with (in reference to both making and using -- really, everyone should try it) and am back with some masks. The Grated masks are okay... really, they're a lot better in use... I did a few practice icons as always to ensure that these would be useful, and indeed they are. As always, some grungy masks for a bit more variety to add to the collection. I've made so many of these, and hope to come up with a new mask style soon. Hopefully. And maybe some larger masks? We'll see.

Yes, it's been quite a stream of textures coming from me lately, and I'm happy to say that I'll be taking a break from them for a while... perhaps some new masks to come soon. While I really enjoyed making them and got some of the nicest comments I've ever had on them, I feel as though I've exhausted my need for them at present, and don't tend to make things that I don't need anymore for long. Although... yes, it's back to masks for me... and perhaps some things for larger graphics. Yes, that should be fun. ^__^

Yes, yes. I know I lied on me making something different this time, but I came back to my computer after an atrociously long day of school and wanted to finish off this style with a flourish. But -- I promise. Something new for tomorrow's resources!

I've switched my personal journal to the super-fantastic ad supported "Sponsored+" LJ thing, basically so I can have more icons. Since I don't do all that much on my personal journal anymore, the ads aren't all that annoying, although they messed up my pretty layout. Tear, tear. Anyway, some more textures because of all the really, really, really, really, really, really nice comments I got on the last ones... that was so inspiring! It's great to see people using my stuff. ^_^ And if you make something noteworthy with my resources, I'd always love to see! Anyway, here they are:

Well, I was pretty busy last night... what with juggling dozens of graphic challenges at the moment and another round of standardized testing, I've had loads to do, so it was nice to sit down after a while and make some nice little icon textures... and then I saved my original images and decided to distribute those, too. ^_^ I feel like I've done so much work lately! It's pretty incredible... I'm actually doing stuff outside of school, and I got accepted into a summer program where I hang out with students from Spain -- it's fairly exciting -- and I might get a job speaking English with Japanese students too. XD

Okay, I'm not dead. I've just been... busy with life, and such, and haven't had time to LJ or update with graphic resources. I'm going to make some icons over the next week, hopefully by the end of next Sunday. It's Easter, and since almost everything is closed, I was able to get on the computer and avoid lunch/movies/shopping with... (gasp!) people. But anyway, here are my latest icon textures -- I was going to use some dull, ordinary names, but decided to go for Latin. A translation for each is available on the customary deviantART download page! And a note -- the previews look blech-ish, but the textures are good. I promise. ^__^

Comment to this post letting me know what kinds of resources would be the most helpful, and whether or not you'd like to see graphics, icons, &c. as well. I'd also like to know whether or not to keep on going with grunge masks -- they're still being downloaded a lot, but I'm not sure whether or not I've made enough. Anyway, let me know. So, yes. It's been a few days between this update and my last one, and those days have been pretty stressful. I just got PSP back on my computer last night... back? Oh, yes. A couple of days ago, I turned on my computer, got the regular windows updates, and it looked as though a Trojan had snuck aboard in the few moment between starting up my dear laptop and getting updates. Ick. I tried for hours to fix the situation (this was a Thursday night -- I had homework to do and needed to stall), and finally gave up and reset the whole system. Last night, I was told that that was "a bit drastic" but... my computer is clean now, which is all that really matters. Anyway, I felt a bit guilty about not doing graphics for a few days and made a huge set of masks this morning, and a few large ones. Enjoy!

These are quite a bit more "grungy" than the last, and I'm not sure which I prefer. I've used both sets in making graphics, and was equally pleased with the effect of both. If you'd like, let me know which style you prefer so I know what to keep making... both, if that's what you think. Honest feedback is really appreciated! Anyway, this is another large set, and includes another 25 masks in a similar (though, as I said before, grungier) style. Let me know if you're using them! I've been getting fewer and fewer comments for each of my resource contributions, which is a bit disappointing. Although I can't force commenting (and wouldn't, of course), it's nice to know who's taking things, and if you have any suggestions, which I'm always open to. My last update received comments from 3 people, and was downloaded 117 times. If you'd like to let me know that you're taking something or having anything else to say, just let me know! I can usually restrain myself from biting. ^__^

So school was pretty boring today, and I decided to make something of Spanish and math and actually got around to making some scribbles. The examples in the preview are pretty thick -- I was using a flowy pen for those, but about half are ballpointed, and a bit sharper. I've been making graphics with random scribbles for a while, but have been just making them in PSP, and now I prefer the pen-to-paper look. There are quite a few, too, which is why I ultimately decided against making brushes out of them.

If you've downloaded things that I've made before, you'll notice that I'm using a community for distributing my graphics. Although it seemed like a good idea at first, I found that the personal side of my LJ was beginning to be overpowered by my graphic resources. This should also be a bit tidier... and organized. So. In this entry, I'm providing some nice soft light textures and a fairly plain set of masks, which I really should have titled as 'light daggers' or 'light bars' but... oh well. Hope you enjoy them!
