AboutRules
1. Try to stay on-topic. No excessive spamming! Off-topic posts are okay once in a while but this is not your personal journal.
2. Really long posts (ie. game notes/letters), big and/or lots of images are to be behind an lj-cut.
3. Offensive to other teams, players and/or their fans? Cut it and put a warning. Also, along this train of thought, if it says "NOT FRIENDLY TO ___", don't go into that thread and start shit. Seriously, it gets annoying. We're sick of the drama.
4. Actually know something about hockey, or be willing to learn. Yes, this community is mainly female fans and we've encouraged obnoxious squeeing in the past, but eventually that gets old and actually talking about the sport itself is more fun.
5. Troll and die.
6. Tag your entries. If you need a new tag made, ask a mod.
7. All entries are members only. You have to join to view new posts.
8. Respect the Mods.
Other stuff:
-Feel free to introduce yourself. Not necessary, but it's always nice to know your favorite teams/players, and hated of the same.
-Post hockey fic if you really want, but not everybody is into fic, so always cut it, no matter how short or G-rated. There are other communities for that sort of thing.
-Fanart, icons/other graphics, that sort of stuff is all ok here. :) We encourage creative thinking!
-This community is made of up female fans, and it is known as a safe haven for us to talk about hockey and be, well, females. just saying.
That's it, pretty much. Have fun. Try to respect each other. But that said, if you're easily offended by words on a screen you might as well stay off the internet altogether.
Note: The joining process is moderated. Basically, if you've just made your LJ and never posted in it before, and/or you have an LJ with the sole purpose of spamming communities, likely you won't be approved. :')
