THE RULES - BASICS

1. No character bashing. (This includes Near. The mod is an enormous Near fan and will be not at all tolerant of this.)

2. No ship bashing. No matter how cracked-out of lame you think a pairing is, do not comment to someone's ad bashing their pairing.

3. No flaming. This includes commenting to someone to tell themtheir spelling/grammar/characterization sucks. If you think it does, you'reprobably right, but this is not the place to tell them.

People who cannot followthese rules will be banned from the community.

THE RULES - WANTED POSTS / PERSONAL ADS

Copy the text form below and post as is, with the LJ cut in place. You answers can be as long or as short as you like, but try to answer all questions. Please remember to follow the rules above about flaming, character bashing and pairing bashing when filling in your answers (i.e., putting, "Near" in your "Does not like" answer is fine, putting, "Near, I hate him because he's tiny and evil and I bet his socks smell" is not.)

THE RULES - RPG ADS

This is not a community promo community. There are several of those out there, we suggest you try [ad] [ad] [ad]. However, RPG ads will be allowed under certain circumstances, which are:

1. You may advertise your RP here if you are looking for characters from Death Note to join. Your ad must be behind an LJ cut if is it more than six lines long. All images contained in the ad must be beneath an LJ cut. You must specify which DN characters are available.

2. You may only advertise once every six months. No one wants to go to a comm and see five plus ads for the same comm on one view page. Exceptions to this rule are:

* When you have had a DN character drop but it has been less than six months since your last advertisement. You may post an advertisement for the character (but only the character, not the whole RP) three months after your last advertisement.

* It has been less than six months since your last advertisement and one or more (but less than all) of the five "main characters" (Mello, Near, Matt, Light, L-- these characters being in my experience the most popular characters in RP, and I recognize this is a subjective assessment) have not been filled. In this case, you may advertise every three months, but no more.

Adverts which do not follow these rules will be removed, and yes I will be checking. If you post two adverts which need to be removed, you will be banned from the comm.
