i was surprised to turn on the radio in the car tonight and hear antony's voice on NPR. i didn't listen to the entire show but i'm going to stream it online in a few. you can do the same here:

I am in search of the song Mysteries of Love. The single it's on is no longer available on Amazon, and I'm not having luck on eBay either. Anyone have any idea where I might find it, or if it's available online as an mp3 somewhere? My fiance and I hope to use it for our wedding this coming August, and I can't believe how hard it is to find!

What are your favourite songs performed by Anthony outside Anthony & The Johnsons?

I've fallen in love with CocoRosie's "Beautiful Boyz" so much...

i feel sorry for whoever won this auction for $52, since you can still order it brand new direct from rebis for only $15, and without the exorbitant shipping costs. oh well.

aside from that, i've noticed that antony's stuff isn't fetching what it used to on ebay. it's funny how there's always a spike in value when an artist has a new album out; i remember prices were pretty much through the roof around the time "i am a bird now" was released. i guess if you have any rarities to sell, better wait until the end of the year when the new album comes out.

anyway, i like that he's been covering beyonce's "crazy in love" lately. i've never cared for the original but he transforms it into something uniquely his own. it's quite good. (you can hear it on my muxtape page if anyone's curious.)
