AboutWelcome to Hush, an icon challenge community devoted to textless icons. Every week a selection of screencaps from a number of different fandoms or a theme will be posted. Each person can submit two icons a week. I'm ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)

hush_challenge v2.0
Rules:
1) Your submissions must remain anonymous. This means you cannot use your icon or post it anywhere - even another anonymous contest - until the voting period is over. If I see/find out you have, your icon will be disqualified.
2) Your submissions must not have words, obviously. This is the Hush Challenge, which means that your icon must be textless. I will disqualify icons that break this rule without warning.
3) Do not tell your friends to come and vote for you. If I see that people are only voting for a certain person's icon every week, I will be very displeased.
4) Don't vote for yourself. It's just not kosher.
5) All submissions must fit LJ standards [.jpg .gif or .png, 100x100 and 40k or less]
6) You may submit up to two icons, but they must each be comprised of one of the screencaps provided. No blends are allowed for cap challenges, although they're just fine for theme weeks.
7) You don't need posting access, only the mods and banner maker need it. Don't ask for it.
Submitting Icons:
1) At the start of each contest, I will make a post where you will submit your icon. Comments will be screened. You and I will be the only people who can see your icon.
2) It is up to you to make sure your icon shows up. Find a host that allows remote linking. Photobucket is excellent. Angelfire/Geocities/Tripod do not work. If I can't see your icon at the time I post the voting, your icon will not be included.
3) If you don't have a photobucket account or some other place to host your icons, you can email your icon todantes_prayer at brandi (at) jaded-iris (dot) com by Thursday noon and it will be included in the poll. If you use this option, please make sure to include your account name in the file name so we know who you are.
4) When you submit your icon, please include the img src and url versions, like this:

If you don't, I'll give you a warning. If you don't heed the warning, I'll disqualify you.
Submission deadline - Fridays at midnight Central Standard Time!
1. The icons will be up to vote for sometime on Saturday morning after midnight. No late submissions will be accepted.
2. You will have till Sunday night to vote.
3. Winners will be announced and the new caps/theme will be posted Sunday night.
4. Banners will be up as soon asjubilli finishes them.
Voting:
1) You must be a member to vote.
2) Please vote for your choice for first, second, and third place in the same post on three different lines. There will be a convoluted tabulation system, and consistency makes it that much easier for me to hang on to sanity.
3) Mod's Choice will be given to an icon that was overlooked in the voting that I find to have outstanding qualities.
