My hiatus is nearly over as I have one more exam to do on Monday and then I am done. As you can see I have changed the layout here because I felt it needed a change. I will be posting new chapters for To You, An Admirer, as I promised, on 20 June on Saturday like I used to before my revision began.

NOTE: This is the best I could do for a May update before I well and truly go on hiatus as I lost all of TYAA on the UBS and am currently rewriting the plan.

Those of you who are on my friend list might already know this if you read my update last night but for the rest of you I think it's only fair I should tell you what happened too so I don't have to explain myself later.

Last night my memory stick (and ironically the backup disk which is out of date anyway) for one reason or another became corrupted and as a result I lots all of my writing including the fic To You, An Admirer and several other things I was working on for various fandoms, as well as a special fic I was writing on request of a friend.

The UBS device won't format to either my laptop or computer without erasing everything on it, so I have more or less lost everything on the memory stick.

As well as the fics I also lost the plans for my multichapter fics so I will have to re-write them too, and drafts of an English essay for my coursework. Thankfully the essay was submitted ages ago so it's not a complete Greek tragedy.

In any case due to the fact that To You, An Admirer has been lost I will not be able to make the one last update this month as I said I hoped I would before I close myself off for the exams. Moreover it is unlikely I will be able to do any serious re-writing until June because, as I said in my hiatus post, my A-level exams are currently the priority. I am committed to finishing the fic so don't feel I'm giving up on it. I have a long summer so I should be able to get a majority of it done and maybe even finish the fic off.

As for the other fics, and especially that request by my friend, there is no way I'll be able to remember everything and re-write it all within any know time space. For that reason once the exams are over I am completely re-writing TYAA and everything else will have to go on spand-by until I can feel motivated to start over again.

Again, I am sorry for what happened but it was something beyond my control and I hope you all understand. :)

PS: If it's any consolation I will be able to do a large update on forgottensophie  when the time comes. I have tones of icons ready to go and I'm still making some.

I want to apologise for the lack of updates to all frequent readers. I haven't been very well this past week and real life is getting in the way.

I just want you all to know that in regards to To You, An Admirer, my long-running piece, Parts 23/24 are complete. I am currently working on Parts 25/26 (And have been since Jan 30 - yes, I'm very slow!) The reason they are not yet posted is because they are currently with the betas, and real life comes before fiction. I hope you understand.

Either way I hope you'll bear with me. I hope to have the chapters up very soon.

I hate to leave people waiting especially since I know the fic has a small following. I'll try and get everything sorted out soon. Hopefully within the next week since it'll be half term for me.
