Fanfic: The Naming (Parts I - IV)
Hey, guys. :D Way back in April (during Finals Week, actually--great time for it) I submitted an entry to the Hughesathon going on at the time, and since then I added three more segments. Now, I think it's finally run its course, so at its completion I put it here for you. :3
It is an AU involving Hughes as a Homunculus.
The Naming
Part I [PG13, 2051 ]
"The light rain clung only reluctantly to the edges of his clothing before letting go, trading black fabric for a black rooftop."
Part II [PG13, 2099]
"He woke slowly, as though waiting for his body to rise to the surface of a deep lake, where the depths were cold, dark, and silent, and the surface boasted all the trappings of life, if only he could get there."
Part III [PG13, 3139]
"The night outside was slowly releasing its tyranny in begrudging silence."
Part IV [R, 5223]
"It wasn't often enough."
