About

HSMSLASH is a community specifically created for slash and femslash pairings from Disney's High School Musical - that means male/male or female/female relationships. We're an open group and membership can be extended to anyone, but if you think that you're not going to dig the themes of this group, you don't have to join. This community is for fanfiction, graphics, and general discussion of ANY slash pairing from HSM.

Rules

1. This community is for slash, meaning that at least one central pairing in any fanfiction/discussion topic has to be a slash/femslash pairing (unless a general discussion is started in response to some news about the movie). Graphics are less strict, but keep the themes of the community in mind.
2. Use LJ cuts for videos, pictures, graphics, and longer posts. You are allowed to present previews or teasers, but keep them reasonable.
3. Be sure to tag your posts! Only moderators can add new tags, but we have an ever-expanding list of them, so be sure to tag your post with the applicable labels to make it easier for others to find what they're looking for. You can always suggest new tags by commenting in this post.
4. Respect the ratings system! HSMSLASH uses G, T, M, NC-17 ratings. You must label all fanfiction appropriately. Also, all adult content MUST be behind an LJ cut with appropriate warnings in place. That said, this community is uncensored and you are responsible for the posts/images you view.
5. If you're using graphics from the community, you must comment/credit!
6. Do not hotlink! If you want to use an image, upload it to your own hosting site.
7. You must warn if your post contains spoilers and put all spoilers behind an LJ-cut.
8. Be sure to use disclaimers on all fanfiction! Intellectual property rights are serious business, and since I believe that I can assume that none of you own the rights to High School Musical, be sure to make that apparent when you post fanfiction.
9. You're more than welcome to link to your own journal, but don't link to any Friend's Only posts.
10. BE RESPECTFUL OF OTHER MEMBERS. This is a community designed for the open exchange of ideas and not everyone is going to have the same opinion as you. Let's keep it civil, you guys.

Right now we have one, ever-exhausted Moderator -

shiningthunder. Hopefully, as the group grows and evolves, so will our mod team so we can be sure to keep the community a well-oiled machine.

You can think of the Mod Team kinda like the mom to a teenager - we're here to clean up after you, answer your questions, and be the shoulder you can cry on when that jackass Senior breaks up with you just because you wouldn't put out, and then when you go to sleep we sneak out and slash his tires...but, while we look out for you, we're mostly trying to give you some space so you can figure things out on your own.
