Then join this community for a Valentine's HP smut exchange!
RULES:
1. Participants and lurkers must be of legal age in their country. If you are participating, you must state that you are of age.
2. This is a fic/art exchange. All participants must fulfill their end of the bargain by completing their assignment. If you are unable to write/draw something in return, don’t ask for a gift. You may instead lurk and enjoy the gifts when they are posted in February.
3. All completed fic/art must be emailed to hpvalensmut@gmail.com no later than January 26th, 2009. Fic submissions must be beta read. The mods will begin posting the gifts on February 1st using the

hpvs_mod journal. All fic/art must be of an R or NC-17 rating. Fic must be at least 1000 words in length. All fic and art must not include sexual situations involving characters under the age of 15. All fic and art must be slash, or slash-centered in the case of a threesome. All fic/art will be read/previewed by a mod before posting to make sure fest guidelines have been adhered to! Because assignments are going out later, we are greatly encouraging an upper-word limit. Please try to keep your submissions under 5000 words. Should your story go over 5000 words, we'll still gladly accept it. We simply do not want you to feel obligated to write a long plotty story in a month's time.
Also due to the short turnover time, our policy is that anyone requesting and extension will be giving only one week-long extension. At that time, no further extensions will be granted and your assignment will be sent for a pinch-hitter. Please plan accordingly!
4. All fic and artwork submissions must remain exclusive to this community until the authors/artists are revealed. This will happen on March 1st or a day after the last gift is posted, whichever comes last.
5. If you have any questions about your assignment you may email them to hpvalensmut@gmail.com.
6. All requests must be submitted no later than December 23rd at 11:59 PM EST. This is to allow for sufficient time to write/draw your gift. Gifts of artwork will be given based on the number of artists that participate in the exchange.
