This is to protect both the participants in this event and the fandom at large, in light of recent events. If there are any stories on the community that you wish to save, please do so now. Wrap post. [30 May 2007|06:34pm] strigoia Since this has been dragged out long enough, I'd like to officially declare this event over. Our total: $7716.42 $7966.42! Any outstanding donations receipts will still be accepted, of course, but for all intents and purposes we're done here. This was an amazing event, and I'd like to take the time to thank each and every one of you for your participation. Furthermore, I wanted to let you know that in light of recent events on LJ, this community has been friends-locked, and membership is now moderated. If you wish to see any announcements about future events, please join. For the moment, we have no particular plans for future events, except to say that there will be another one sometime. Sadly, the ups and downs of everyday life prevent us from saying when this will be, but we are hoping to pull off another event before the end of 2008. Once again, thanks. You guys are amazing.
