AboutThis community is for the sharing of Harry Potter icon bases. Please read the rules carefully if you are planning on posting or taking bases.
Posting Bases
[x] Your base may be anything from a simple crop to a customised textless icon. The only requirements for bases is that they are textless, must conform to LJ's size restrictions and that you will allow people to take and customise the bases.
[x] When posting your bases/link to your bases, please include your rules for use. This must include whether you require credit and in what form.
[x] You may post up to three icons outside of an LJ-cut.
Taking Bases
[x] If you take a base, you must follow the maker's rules. This is very important, and there is no excuse for not doing this. If you find the maker's rules unreasonable, then don't use their bases, it's as simple as that.
What Else Can Be Posted?
[x] Nothing. Just bases. No icons. If you want to show off some icons you made using bases here, then comment on the post where you got the bases, with a link.
[x] You can't plug sites here. That is, you can't just post with a link and nothign else. However, when posting bases, if you want to say something like 'more of my stuff at...' then go ahead.
[x] You can't post questions about icons here. There are plenty of other communities for that kind of thing (try![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif)
icon_extras or icon_tutorial). But if you see an effect/font/etc you like, you could always try asking the maker nicely in a comment.
