Welcome to the daily picture community for the men of Harry Potter! Please take a look at the rules, and come on in!

Rules:

  • All posts must contain a picture. Please do not post links to pictures. (This includes just posting links in your HPGD post, linking to outside picture galleries, fake LJ cuts leading to your journal... let's just say anything that causes you to not be posting the picture itself in the community.) How to post a picture.

  • No icons, wallpapers, fanart, photo manipulations, animations, color bars, articles, etc., or the links to such things.

  • No flaming, no disrespect to anyone. No reason why we can't play nice, right?

  • Speak English, please. I know that not everyone speaks English well, but when you post in another language, it excludes other members. It also makes your posts impossible to moderate.

  • All large pictures and multiple pictures behind a LJ cut, please! If you're leaving a photo outside a LJ cut, please keep it small. How to make a LJ cut!

  • No advertising!

  • No hotlinking! (Hotlinking is also known as direct linking. It is when you use someone else's URL, i.e. web site address, in the post instead of your own. Please upload photos to your own server... a good free server is Photobucket)

  • One post, per person, per day. The only exception will be that sometimes I'll make a mod post to inform you of something happening in the community, and then post pictures later that day. This rule is under revision and is currently not in effect.

  • Temporary note: I do not require that pictures containing spoilers for Order of the Phoenix be cut, or contain a warning. Most of the time the pictures will be cut anyway. Chances are, you've read the book and know what happens.


    If your posts break the above rules, I will ask you to edit your post to fix it. If you don't, I'll delete it. Unless you're just a troll, in which case I'll automatically delete your post.

    Just a note... I do keep track of offenders in this community, and after 3 or 4 offenses (depending on seriousness), I do ban permanently. Chances are that you will be warned before I ban (again, trolls are an exception).
