This is a place where Harry Potter fan fiction writers can meet people willing to beta their work. It is also a place for betas to meet writers they can beta for.
What the heck is a beta anyway? Beta is the second letter in the Greek alphabet. In fact the word beta has several meanings, but in the world of fan fiction it has come to mean ‘proof reader’ and ‘editor.’ A beta is the second person to read a story, the first, of course, being the author.
