hpcreate, a LiveJournal sponsored community designed for creative people just like you! From March 4, 2008 through April 31, 2008 we're going to give you – yes, you! – the chance to show off the products of your imaginations and to participate in some awesome contests!
Here's how it'll work:
Every week we're going to have a community theme:
Throughout the week I'll post a series of prompts and contest teasers that are designed to help you come up with ideas! Please keep in mind that all submissions to the community must be made through comments to the relevant post.
Feel free to contribute as much as you like, or to simply sit back and browse through the community to enjoy what has been posted. Please don't hesitate to post for prior weeks if you feel like you have something to share. Hopefully, by the end we'll have quite a collection of creativity!
At the end of the week, you, the community will get to vote to decide the weekly winner! We have some pretty nifty ideas for winners of the weekly competition--but right now they're a surprise.
Finally, at the beginning of the next week we'll start the whole process over with a brand new theme!
Just remember that the most important part of this community is you! Your submissions and your voices are what will makehpcreate into a fantastic place to find some really neat creative thoughts and ideas!
