I realized I was very smart in starting up a new request-a-thon since rarepair_shorts is having the Wishlist Event. *headdesk* We haven't had many drabbles written yet... so I have a question for you all:

Also, I think maybe we're all getting a little tired of the request-a-thon. Does anyone have any suggestions for events that will liven up the community?

If you remember from that one particularly volatile poll, the runner-up was Percy Weasley. So now we will be dedicating a drabble-a-thon to him. ;)

As always, the three rules of the drabble-a-thon are these:
1. You are entitled to THREE wishes. Each wish must be Percy-centric (both gen and shippy requests are welcome).

2. You may grant NO MORE THAN THREE wishes.

3. If you are fulfilling a request, your drabble must be EXACTLY 100 words.

Feel free to write for requests that have already been fulfilled, if it calls to you that badly. I know it happens sometimes that people respond to a request at the same time, and that's fine by me.

The deadline for this drabble-a-thon is July 1.

→ Images must be no larger than 500 x 500 pixels.
→ Any and all mediums are welcome, but pencil and paper is preferred.

As I have said before, we haven't really seen much art at this community, so I thought it would be fun to have an art challenge that everyone can easily participate in.

The doodle-a-thon works much like our drabble-a-thons: someone requests something, someone else fulfills that requests. Instead of fics, though, we exchange doodles. I really do mean doodles - so please don't feel like you need to draw something absolutely fantastic or that you need to spend 5 hours on one request. The idea is to have fun and be silly. :)

THE RULES
→ Pencil and paper is the preferred medium, but you are welcome to draw things in Paint, Photoshop, etc. Again, DOODLES ONLY!
→ Also, as we don't have the ability to flag or collapse comments for adult concepts, I must ask you all to keep it PG-13 and under. I'm sorry for any inconveniences this causes, but I feel this is a necessary rule considering the format of the doodle-a-thon.
→ You may post up to four wishes. This doodle-a-thon IS NOT character-specific, so feel free to ask for anyone - gen, shippy, whatever!
→ You may fulfill up to four wishes.
→ Images must be no bigger than 500 x 500 pixels.

Now, as I'm sure all this is bound to generate a few questions, I will not officially open the doodle-a-thon until tomorrow, May 3, so please don't put up requests until then. I will make a separate post for the requests.

Bold for really wanting. Unbold for just wanting. This is all for fic. Although if anything inspires art then thats also fabulous. I don't mind wishes being filled more than once. Nothing higher than R except for dark!fics which I don't mind.

After some very intense voting, Pansy Parkinson took the lead at the last possible minute. I'm sure many of you are very excited by this... while you Percy fans were let down once again. :P

So here's what I'm thinking. Obviously there is a significant amount of interest in doing request-a-thons for all three characters we were voting on (though Luna got far less votes, I know that some people switched their votes), so I think it's only fair that we do a request-a-thon for each of them. Pansy, as the winner, will be the subject for this next request-a-thon, then we'll have a go at Percy, then Luna.

When the time comes for me to post the next poll, I would like to try something different... because I would prefer it if no one but me knew who was winning. We'll be using the special text entry box instead of those radio buttons, because I can turn off the visibility of those responses and they'll be easier to sort through than comments. If this doesn't make sense now, don't worry, I'll be talking about this again. But in the mean time, does everyone agree with the idea of not knowing who is winning? I personally feel like it'll reduce bias and also encourage more voting - and it'll be more exciting when I reveal the winner because you won't already know. ;)

Lastly, is anyone interested in having a doodle-a-thon? We haven't seen much art at this community, and I thought perhaps it might be fun to do request-a-thons for doodles instead of drabbles. :)
