There should never be a question as to if the moderator or any authors/artists in this community promote/condone any illegal activities. Though such acts may appear in this community, we in no way condone such acts. The writing/reading of any such things does not mean I (the moderator) or the watchers/members of

hp_summersmut participate in, promote, agree with, think others should do this in the slightest. We know the difference between what is fictional and what is real and surely hope, by all things holy, that if you are reading this community you know the same.

Just a couple of rules to keep the fest running smoothly. By signing up, you are agreeing to the rules.

[+] The one bad part of the rules: you have to be 18. Sorry, but this is to cover my behind. If you're under 18, you're a minor and I don't want to get in trouble with corrupting impressionable youths and all that. If, however, you'll turn 18 during the run of the fest and will die if you can't participate, drop me a line and we'll work something out.

[+] If you sign up to write or draw, PLEASE fulfill your end of the bargain. Someone else is diligently working on something for you. I'll hunt you down if you don't turn your work in and I'm a really nice person so I don't want to find a mean side to me. If you find you can't write, let me know as soon as possible so I can arrange a pinch-hitter. The sooner the better. I won't bite. I promise.

[+] Once the fic or art is done, send it my (thescarletwoman@gmail.com) way with "summersmut" or something similar in the header -- that way I know what it's for. If you have it done the day after you receive your assignment, send it. I don't mind getting stuff early.

[+] Word count limit? None whatsoever. Write a novel if so desired. The minimum word count is 1,000 words. And a minimum rating of R (though NC-17 is definitely loved). We are all about the porn here, remember. XD

[+] Along the lines of word count -- PLEASE have your fic beta read.

[+] No posting the fics or art outside of the community until the completion of the fest on August 31st and the identities of all the authors are revealed. Including a note that it was written for here is also appreciated.

[+] Any and all kinks or pairings or pairings are welcome. This includes het, slash, threesomes, moresomes or anything else your mind can come up with. When submitting the fic or art, please have the appropriate warnings in the header.

[+] If you dropped out of the fest in any previous runs, you are not eligible to participate this time around.
