Rules:
1. Community Subject
This community is for these subjects: Fanart, fanfics, and graphics. All must be related to Harry Potter in some way. This means actors and actresses, J.K. Rowling, and anybody else involved in Harry Potter are welcome.
2. No off topic chit chat.
This means don't start up a whole new discussion on something completely different from the original community entry; and, don't make a new journal entry for anything else besides one of the subjects of this community.
3. Images and Cussing
Please, keep bad images off your fanart and graphics. And if you're going to cuss in your fanfics, put up a warning. Some things are okay on graphics/fanfics/fanart, just try not to get too rough. It'd probably be a good idea to put up a warning if you write/draw slash, too.
4. Commenting
If you're going to give a comment back to somebody's work, if you think it needs work, help them by giving them ideas on how to get better. No "that sucks" or anything. That doesn't help them at all.
5. No Stealing
No stealing graphics/fanart/fanfics from here, and no stealing it from some other place and putting it up here. Harry Potter Showcase is for your graphics only.
6. Live Journal Cut
If you're posting more than 4 icons, a fanart picture, or a fanfic, please use the Live Journal cut.
7. Length and Numbers
Icons: Please - if you're going to post icons, try to post at least two. And try to post them in big groups, don't post two new ones every few minutes. A good way to do it is wait until at least one other person posts some icons before posting more. However, if you've waited a while, and have made about 5 or more new icons, you may go ahead and post.
Fanfics: Try to make your chapters as long as you can, and please try to use good grammer and spelling. This is not a requirement, just a suggestion. You may post a new Live Journal entry per new chapter - just try not to make many short chapters instead of one big one.
Fanart: Since fanart is harder and longer to make, one drawing an entry is fine.
