I'm sorry to say, this isn't an update (though I promise I am working on one, it will take place between Harry and Draco this time, and it won't be very short at all). I just thought, with all the madness going on at the moment, I should let you all in on a few things.
Firstly, while the contents of this comm are of a sexual nature, I have no reason to believe ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) hp_secrets is in any danger of being suspended or deleted. However, given circumstances, it certainly doesn't hurt to take precautions.
Should anything ever happen to hp_secrets here on LJ, I've acquired communities both at GJ and IJ, in case I ever need to migrate. Those are "hp__secrets" at greatest journal and the usual "hp_secrets" at insane journal. So if hp_secrets ever goes missing, you'll know where else to find it.
To be clear, the comm is staying put. I don't plan to use the GJ or IJ accounts unless it becomes necessary.
Rest assured, no matter what happens, the notes will not be lost. I have all the images, plus an archive of HPS saved to my computer as well as an external drive. Even if LJ suspended me, photobucket somehow lost all my images, and my computer crashed all in one day, I'd still have everything I need to replace the comm, exactly as it was, at another location.
So you see, in at least this tiny little corner where my Harry and Draco dwell, fucking and fighting and fucking some more.. all is well. : )

I cannot tell you all how sorry I am that this isn't a real update. I try not to post unless I have something for you, but I've gotten so many comments lately asking if hp_secrets is gone for good, or begging for an update, that I couldn't put it off any longer.
Firstly, hp_secrets is not dead! And I promise that if I were going to end it, I wouldn't just leave you guys hanging, wondering if an update was coming.
I realize it's been ages since I updated. I'm just as frustrated about it as you are, if not more. There are two reasons for the delay. First, because I'm blocked. I had something planned out for the notes and things got a little off course and now I'm.. struggling to clear it up. Second, because I'm busy. The holidays were chaotic, and then the spring semester started. You wouldn't believe how much work an art class can be. Especially for a perfectionist. I know it's not the explanation you want. You probably expected to hear that I was in the hospital unconscious, as long as it's taking.
Bear with me, guys. I'm trying, I promise. And you will get an update. I'd like to say it's coming very soon, but I honestly don't know. All I can say is that I'm working on it.

ETA: I've had a few people ask when the summer series will end, so I thought I'd address it here. I realize that in real time, the boys would be back at Hogwarts by now, but I'm not working in real time with these. In fact, the only notes that are intended that way are ones like the Valentines and April Fool's, for obvious reasons.
That said, I haven't yet decided when the summer will end for the boys. I still have a few things planned. Hope you all don't mind. If you're bored with the series, bear with me. They will get back to school eventually.
I'll have a bit of a treat for you guys soon. A little like the 100-watcher 'celebration' but more.. interactive.
And, as usual, thank you for watching, reading, and commenting. Your encouragement truly keeps this going.
