I have decided to pull back on some of my fandom responsibilities, including modding this community. This was a hard decision, because this community, and the list which came before it, have been a big part of my life for a long time. It's been a real pleasure and honor to have been associated it with it these past few years. But the time has come to pass the baton, and I'm sure the new mod will do a great job with it.

Why did you reject my application for admission? or Why haven't you approved me for membership yet?
Most likely because you didn't do both of the steps outlined in this post. You either commented to agree to the warnings and disclaimers OR clicked on the "Join this community" link, but have not done both. If you don't see your username in the "members" section of the comm's userinfo page, you're not yet a member of this comm. If you have been rejected, feel free to re-submit your name. Once you perform both steps, I'll gladly clear you for access.
If you have done both and were still rejected, it has probably come to my attention through some other means that you are not at least 18 years of age. Please re-submit your name once you have turned 18.
Of course, it's also possible that I just screwed up. If you feel this is the case, let me know. |

Welcome to ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) hp_roughside! A few things that need to be stressed from the outset:
- This comm is devoted to HP art and fan fic featuring (among other things) rape fantasy, torture fantasy, bondage, BDSM, heavy fetish, and adult slavery fantasy, i.e., the rough stuff, hence the name. If this is not your thing, please don't bother to read any further.
- Everything posted to this comm, with the exception of a few mod posts like this one, will be f-locked. This means you'll need to join the comm if you want to have access to the fics and art posted here.
- However, membership to this comm is moderated, just as it was on the mailing list. If you want access, you must:
- First comment to this post stating you are 18 years of age or older and agree to the disclaimers and rules of the comm, as shown below.
- Then click on the Join This Community link and request to be added to the comm.
You MUST DO BOTH STEPS in order to be given access to the comm. I will not be chasing after people for this; if you do one step but not the other, I will not grant you access. This is to ensure that everyone is fully aware of what they are getting into when they come to this community.
