hp_rarities, a fest dedicated to the characters in the Harry Potter Series who never get to warm each others' sheets! This is the exchange for those who want to see Draco indulging his love for Neville, and Hermione discovering the joys of Kingsley Shacklebolt.
As such, there are certain pairings that are discounted from the exchange…

But, beyond these six pairings, anything (and anyone…) goes!
Exchanges are supposed to be fun, so we'll keep the rules to a minimum. The lower word limit is 1000 words, the upper limit is ~30,000words and all stories must be beta-read. If a story contains glaring errors it will be returned to you – if you can't get a beta then ask the Mods, and we'll sort something out for you. Later on, we'll make available the standardized header that you should use, and all HTML coding should be inserted into the story before you submit it.
For art, there is obviously no word limit. But bear in mind this is a gift for someone else, and as such should show time and care taken. Again, a standardized heading will be made available later on.
This year we'll be operating a quality clause - if there are glaring errors, or no care shown to the submission, we will refuse it. We're also operating a no-extensions policy. Unless there are extreme circumstances, we will not issue extensions. Last year we were waiting for pieces right up until the last few days of posting, and we're not going to do that again. There's three months writing/drawing time, which should be enough, so please don't ask us for an extension; most likely we won't give it.
