AboutThey're everywhere, all around us. We are super-geeky, so we see them. Harry Potter character look-alikes. Remus is the checkout boy at Walmart. Snape is in your Goverment 1301 class. Sirius is the handsome young man on your bus. And you always feel so terrible about letting them walk away, because you know your fandom friends would agree... this person is an hp_lookalike.
But now, you've got your chance to show everyone.
Remember, first and foremost: this is NOT a cosplay community.
So please, don't submit photos of your sister in quidditch robes. Of your boyfriend in round glasses with a scar painted on. This is a community for pictures of people who look like specific HP characters without any manipulation to their physical appearance.
Acceptable example: Someone in normal, everyday clothes who is tall, gangly, and has flaming red hair. Most importantly, this person must fit your idea of what a Weasley looks like.
Not acceptable: wigs, makeup to look like the character, any HP costumes or accessories. Hair dying is borderline. If you know the person normally dyes their hair that color, it's acceptable.
