About:Hello, all you wizards and muggles (what are you doing here?)! Welcome to a community dedicated mainly to Harry Potter graphics. Here we show off any graphics related to Harry Potter. For example: icons, blinkies, sprites, and anything else you can think of. You can make requests for icons/whatever you need here, just be nice about it. There are a few rules, so please be sure to read them before joining. thanks! =]

PLUGGING YOUR LJs: If you want to plug your community/site/forum please contact [info]forgottendreamz before doing so. While I don't mind advertising for another HP related site, this site is mainly for HP related graphics. If you want to promote your community go to [info]community_promo. Thank you.
[you may include a tag in your post, but your post cannot solely be a plug for your comm/rpg/forum/etc unless you ask me first, or it will be deleted without warning. and if you do plug, be reasonable and dont go crazy and add 10000 LJ comm tags to your community.]

[[RULES]]
1. Must be Harry Potter related graphics. That's the purpose of this community, any non HP related entries will be deleted without notice. Multifandom [posts with HP, LOTR, etc] posts are allowed, but please try not to do it for every single post.

2. Any mature content MUST be kept BEHIND a cut, and please say in advance that it contains explicit content, because we have fans of all ages here. ^^; Nothing too explicit, though artistic nudity is allowed. And be discreet. Also, slash couplings are allowed, but just be sure to keep it behind an LJ cut. If you have a problem with it, just don't get the icons/whatever.

3. Be polite and respectful. DO NOT START DRAMA. If ANY member of the community is bothering you, let me [[info]forgottendreamz] know and i will ban them after i review the situation. Any drama is not tolerated and will result in a banning, no prior warning.

4. When posting large amounts of icons, please use the LJ cut <lj-cut text="blahblahblah">

5. While you may request layouts/icons/banners/etc here, please don't go overboard with the request posts. You need to leave your e-mail address, AIM name, or another form of contact, so you can get in touch with a willing person directly. BUT, please know that this isnt the sole purpose of the community.

6. If you do not currently have a LJ, if you take a icon or whatnot please leave your username of the journal you currently use, or some other form of "identity" because we have had a few problems in the past.

ETA: please be respectful of the actors that are in the HP movies, if they happen to have a myspace/friendster/facebook/etc, don't go posting it on the community because i'd rather not have them be harassed by anybody. they are normal people like us, and so they would be bound to have something like myspace. please respect their privacy before posting such content. thanks!
