1. No Major Character Death.
   
   
2. Minor Character Death may be off-screen as long as it is funny.
   
   
3. All participants (writers, artists, AND lurkers) must be at least 18 years of age.
   
   
4. All fics must be at least 1,000 words. There is no upper limit as to length.
   
   
5. All fics must be spellchecked and preferably beta read.
   
   
6. Requests and Fic/Art may be Het or Slash or Gen - no restrictions.
   
   
   1. The Request post will be opened on April 1st, and run ‘til April 14th.
      
   2. A request consists of an amusing prompt, plus an optional pairing (optional as in you don’t need to provide one, but it must be followed if requested) - i.e. personal_username, Fred and George, long lethal-looking metal instrument - or simply Harry finds a wet bathing suit on the floor.
      
   3. A Master List of Requests will be posted on April 15th, and Claims may be made up until the day fics start posting, should you be bunnied at the last moment.
      
   4. It will be broken down by pairing, for ease of selection, with all pairing-free prompts grouped together.
      
   5. They will include the Requestor’s LJ name, so you know who you are nominally writing for, but no list of squicks, or anything fancy – remember, necro isn’t funny!!
      
   6. Each Request may be Claimed up to twice – once for Fic and once for Art.
      
   7. You may Claim up to two Requests.
      
   8. Fics and Art can be posted starting June 10th – this isn’t a nice, neat eight weeks, it is the day after Equus closes, so I will need cheering up – and you have until the end of June to post.
      
   9. You will post your work, yourself, using the following format :-

   10. A Master List of work will be compiled in mid July, to include any stragglers.
       
   
   
7. Link and pimp the Funny like a Mad Thing, but please don't archive it anywhere else until after the end of June.
   
   
8. We reserve the right to delete a fic that claims to be funny, but is really tasteless, rude and offensive - we are here to smile and laugh, OK - and we require that, if a fic is deemed likely to squick others, even if the author thinks it's funny, it will be required to carry an appropriate warning - I'm thinking of something like Ron/Squid.... although the pairing should indicate squickdome.
