AboutWelcome to HP_FANFIC: Where the fans go for fics! Yes, funky motto...but it fits. This is a community for writers to share their stories. All ships and ratings are allowed here, so keep your mind open.
General Rules:
*NO STEALING OR PLAGIARISM! This is a given. Any user suspected of these will be banned--Consider yourself warned.
*No netspeak. Nothing is more annoying than having to de-code a comment (or worse: a fic.)
*NO FLAMES! Be respectful. Sing it Aretha...R-E-S-P-E-C-T!
*Any fics must be behind an lj-cut! Must must must! Failure to comply will result in a deleted post...

*R and NC-17 fics. Yes, they are allowed to be posted here. Must have a warning.
*Fan Art. If you have art accompanying a fic, feel free to share! This must be behind an lj-cut as well.
*Links to friends-locked fics. There have been some controversies surrounding this, but here at this community it will be allowed. Some authors are wary to post fics that will be easily accessed by anyone (whether it's because of plagiarism or because it's NC-17).
*Posts asking for a beta. Please keep these posts to a minimum. If there is an over-abundance of them, I will be forced to knock this off the list.
*Links to challenges. Share the knowlegde! Let others know where there's a challenge running amok! Advertising for challenges on another community is allowed.
*Fics. Hopefully this would have been obvious...

*Advertising other communites. Please...go to advertising communities for that! No, HP-related advertising is not allowed. Sorry!
*Anything non-Hp-related. Come on, guys...Hope no one has to be reminded about this.
*Essays or whatnot pertaining to the books or movies. This is a fanfiction community; therefore, fics only. There are other communites where you can go to post your opinions about such things.
*Newbie posts. If you put a fic with your introductions, you should be good to go.
