So I've been thinking about creating a few original Quibbler covers and I'm trying to come up with headlines. I don't want to use the obvious ones. So I thought I would ask and see what wonderfully creative things other people could come up with. So any ideas for some headlines that would been seen on an issue of the Quibbler? Thanks so much! I recently found a great Ravenclaw tie at Ross. I usually go as Cho Chang, but for years I've been using a tie my mom sewed for me. It wasn't even the right colors. So when I saw this tie, I had to have it! It was only $10 bucks and I feel like it completes everything. I believe I saw two more of these ties in the store, as well as a green and silver one that would work for Slytherin. I also saw a few in another store, so if you're looking for a SS/CoS style tie, you may be able to find one at Ross.

Also, I need opinions. In May, I bleached the bottom few inches of my hair, and I don't know what to do with it now. See, I like having the blonde, but Cho doesn't have blonde hair. Do you think I should I dye it, cut it, or keep it for the HBP premiere? I've been trying to reason with myself by saying...perhaps I could go as Katie Leung as Cho Chang, since she had blonde hair at one point. Haha. I originally ordered a skirt from WA then found a skirt I liked better later on, so I'm selling the one I have. It's never been worn, still has the fold marks on it, but never had tags. It is a size SMALL, which per WA fits a waist 26-28" (It has some elastic inside to pull the waist in a bit). Even tho I'm sure we all know what they look like, here's a pic anyway. They sell for 24.99 plus S&H. Asking $27 which includes S&H and paypal fees. (Is it just me or have paypal's fees just gotten out of hand?)

I'm also parting with a Gryffindor cardigan style sweater. It's a Men's SMALL, but keep in mind their sweaters seem to run a bit big. I bought this originally for my Molly in Hogwart's costume, then realized I was a decade off for what I had in mind. *sigh* Oh well. It's never been worn, but it was washed the day I got it. It is the dark gray color with the stripes at the cuffs and around the bottom. They sell for $44.99 on WA + S&H. Asking $47.00 which includes S&H and paypal fees.

So I'm cosplaying to the midnight screening of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince as a Ravenclaw student. Now in the beginning, I was going to cosplay as Cho, but I chopped off all of my Asian hurr :( Now it's just a Ravenclaw student. I bought the Ravenclaw cardigan from Lochaven Scotland, which is magical, and I have the official tie. There are just a few things I need to do before the movie next week (~squee!~) up to my standards.

Alright. I want some honest answers. :) If I were to tackle a Quidditch robe, meaning I start from scratch AND have never done a robe before, do you think it could be possible to finish in time for Azkatraz? (July 17).

I'm pretty darn handy on the sewing machine. I just don't know where to begin at all.

Some questions:
What kind of material is used? (It's not the same as the regular robes..)
How much of said material would be needed?
What pattern would be best? And where can I find it?

I'm already planning on going to Azkatraz as Professor Trelawny (Costume complete), and a Ravenclaw student (Costume also complete, robe from Whimsic Alley).

I've got a Gryffindor and Ravenclaw Quidditch sweater already. And both Quidditch patches for robes. Some Quidditch Goggles in the post to me right now. I'm working on the protective gear, it should come out okay. Going to some Salvation army's to find random do-dads.

I know this post was all over the place, sorry for that. I just think a robe would tie everything in nicely. I know I should have thought about this months ago, but I am a procrastinator at it's best...ugh.

Allo people, as HBP nears I find myself trying to find cosplayers to meet up with in Georgia. I'm going to the Mall of Georgia IMAX premiere and I was hoping to find some people who would be willing to meet up with me, dressed as Draco (COS version, most likely, due to my height). I'm especially hoping to find a Harry to antagonize and/or snog the entire time, lol.

Would anyone here happen to possibly be going to that showing of the movie?
