AboutAre you having trouble finding facts to support your writing/art but don't have the time to skim all five books to find that one passage?
Have you read so much fanfiction that you can't remember if it's fanon or canon?
Do you need information to support your characterization or setting?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, you're in the right place. We will stop you from writing a story about Hermione listening to MP3's in the common room. We will point the way to Snape's greasy hair. We will show you that the Weasley's will not be visiting Disneyworld any time soon.
Rules for participation
1. Posts must be about canon details and locating supporting information in the books or interviews with JKR.
2. Please let us know where you found the supporting information - book, chapter, page, and version (ie. US or UK version) or a link to a quote from JKR.
3. Discussions on your interpretations of canon are allowed but you must include supporting details per item #2.
4. You may request feedback on fic/art for the purposes of checking it against canon. Replies must include supporting details per item #2 that either validate the author's/artist's work or refutes her/his work.
5. Posts/replies must be respectful - no flaming will be tolerated.
