Welcome to hp_bdsm!

Have you always liked reading BDSM fics, and wanted some to do with Harry Potter? I know i've come across a fair few great ones over the years, but no one place to put them, or at least none i've found. If this is what you like, you're in the right place!

What is allowed here?
You are allowed to post any fic/art/graphics related to BDSM, torture, non consent, rape, abuse, prisoner/captor, fetish, adult slavery - as long as it's similar, you're fine. Het, slash, femmeslash, gen and incest are all welcome here. Discussion and rec lists are also allowed here, as long as bdsm themed.

All ratings are allowed, but to join and watch this community you must be over the age of 18 and have an age statement in your profile. Failure for either means your request to join will be denied.

What is not allowed here?
No promotions, unless mod permitted, no RPGs, no real person fiction and no crossovers. Also, characters are not allowed to be in sexual situations unless they are over the age of 18.

Please make sure you put in your warnings what you fic contains - like non consent, torture etc.

Posting
When you post a piece of fiction or art, you must post it in the following ways:
- Headers should be set like this: Art/Fic: Title of Fic [Pairing]

All fic and artwork must be under an lj cut otherwise it takes up too much space.

Tagging
Tag your posts in the following way:
author/artist: your username, pairing: pairing, het/femmeslash/slash/gen, !fic/!art/!graphics, year

Please also put what your fic contains, such as male dom/female submissive (one tag please, and the same for female dom/male submissive or female dom/female submissive), knifeplay, breathplay, torture etc.

Can't find a tag? That's alright, add your own or i'll do it for you. If you have tagged wrongly, don't worry, i'll correct it for you, it's just easier if everything is organised :) I plan to make a Master List each year, which is why I want the year in there.

Formatting
Should you have any major formatting errors, I will delete your entry, redo and repost it, stating who originally posted it. This is just to keep the community tidy, neat and organised for everyone.

Please comment on the fics, art and graphics you find here, the authors and artists work very hard on their work and would appreciate any feedback you can give. No rudeness or flaming mind!

If you don't like BDSM...
If you don't like BDSM, or for some strange reason are against it (and no, BDSM does not always mean abuse) then please do not post here. Flaming and intolerance will not be allowed, and neither will explicit insults so you will be banned if you cause trouble. If you do not like it, simply leave - we're not forcing you to stay.

Finally
I hope you enjoy yourself here in this community, as that is what we're here for! There may be challenges, fests and/or ficathons posted here to liven up the community every so often, so look forward to them. I have the right to delete posts if I see them unsuitable, but I will always contact you about it to let you know what the problem is.
