Challenge #13: The Boggart in the Wardrobe (Or, 'Cool, sir!')
We've had the Erised challenge and the Patronus challenge, so now it's time for the Boggart challenge. If you need a quick refresher:
'Boggarts like dark, enclosed spaces,' said Professor Lupin. 'Wardrobes, the gap beneath beds, the cupboards under sinks - I once met one that has lodged itself in a grandfather clock. This one moved in yesterday afternoon, and I asked the Headmaster if the staff would leave it to give my third-years some practice.
'So, the first question we must ask ourselves is, what is a Boggart?'
Hermione put up her hand.
'It's a shape-shifter,' she said. 'It can take the shape of whatever it thinks will frighten us most.'

Knock yourself out.
Two more orders of business. One is that thanks to a suggestion and help from
perch_and_creep, all of the entries are organized in the memories by author. Please take a moment to look here for your name and make sure everything is in order. If you're missing something or anything like that, just comment and I'll fix it for you.
The second thing is a layout contest. Someone was nice enough to give us a paid account, and I haven't used it fully. If you have mad web design skillz, why don't you give it a try? Bonus points if you know the LJ style system and can actually create the style, but if you can just do the HTML part, that's fine. You're basically free to do whatever you want, but remember that a clean, easily-navigable, easily-read layout would be preferable. The deadline is June 30th, 2003, which gives you three weeks. After the deadline, we'll have a poll to decide which one we use, or if we want to cycle through a couple or what. Please note that I reserve the right to make small changes to the layout if needed.
When you have your layout done, email dischord @ kenzia.com with the link to a public style, an HTML page, or if you're really stuck, you can email the files.
Have fun with the challenge and the contest and browsing through the entries at leisure!
P.S. A big hand for Hufflepuff for winning last week's challenge.
