Leonardo Dicaprio @ The Body Of Lies Premiere[NYC] Oct. 5th 2008.
Leonardo DiCaprio launches the premiere of his latest movie, Body of Lies, at the Frederick P. Rose Theater on Sunday in New York City. Body of Lies, out Oct. 10th, is directed by Ridley Scott (Gladiator, Black Hawk Down), and stars DiCaprio and Russell Crowe. The film is based on Washington Post columnist David Ignatius‘ 2007 novel about a CIA operative, Roger Ferris (DiCaprio), who uncovers a lead on a major terrorist leader suspected to be operating out of Jordan. Unfortunately, Body of Lies hasn’t been receiving the greatest of reviews. Leo's been keeping politically active in his real life unveiling his star studded voting PSA with a surprise visit to Ellen on Friday. He said, "This is really one of the most important elections of our life time and we really need to tell everyone we know to get out there and vote." Seems like good timing for Leo that he gets to come out and promote his new movie while also getting to promote his passion projects.

Dear MUCC decides to pull out from the Rock Star Taste of Chaos tour. It would have been wonderous if they would have made a stop here... guess it will never happen in a million years. I'm sadden, totally!!
What can we do when we live in Singapore. Ticket prices are high because they have to cover for the cost of staging and traveling all the way to Singapore. And our market is so small like peanuts. And when tickets sore to 300+++ people complain, but have they wonder how much it cost for the rental for a performance. Nuts price!!!

Oh man, it has been a great weekend.
Friday night Noah and I were supposed to get dinner and hang out with his friends, but I was feeling a little icky, so instead he came here and we got delicious pizza at Mio's and watched "Teeth" with Lizzy. "Teeth" was fantastic, and Noah was a trooper for sitting through all of the penis chomping (um, it's a horror flick about a girl with vagina dentata).
I had a job interview at an animal hospital (a Banfield clinic) on Saturday, and they pretty much offered me the position. The problem is that it's in Hamilton, which is a good 45-minute drive from my apartment. The other problem is that they can only give me a part-time position right now, and could get me working full time in a couple months. The OTHER problem is that it is a major pay cut (3 dollars an hour less) from what I'm making now. But! I'm going to take it despite all of these downfalls! I really need to get more vet experience if I plan on being accepted into vet school, and the people there seemed nice.
I just might have to get a second job. Lizzy tells me that Everybody's Records is hiring, so that might do the trick. I'll also see if the book store needs any help, and the other animal hospital I used to work for.
Elizabeth and I took our bikes to the bike trail around here and rode for a good hour Saturday afternoon. It was so peaceful and I am still madly in love with my new bike. I finally brought it to my apartment after our ride, and I can't wait to ride it down to UDF for some ice cream or something sometime soon.
Saturday night was Girl's Night Out. Lizzy, Elizabeth, Anait and I all went down to Northside Tavern for some boozin' and dancin'. It was mostly uneventful, but still a great time. I was a texting fiend that night, and I convinced Noah to come over and spend the night. I'm telling you, dudes, I think that guy is really cool.
Today has been mostly useless. I slept in real late and managed to shower and get to the store to buy milk. I should have been studying O chem like a maniac, but I haven't been able to focus.
The exciting event of the day was buying a yet-to-be-named betta fish! He is dark blue and very handsome. Pictures will come soon, I'm sure.
I'm tired and my throat is sore from yelling over the music at the bar last night. Gooooooodnight.

It has been annoyingly painful to update these days. Apparently LJ doesn't seem to be working for me. It could just be my internet connection or that mac doesn't approves of this blog.
Last week has been a toil. It was or has been one of the worst weeks ever since my return. Just horrendous. Not only did my stomach work up against me, bad karma seem to be acting up as well. Guess thats how life is isn't it. It's not everyday you get lolipop and candies.
It's the time of the month again. Out with the old and in with the new. I'm talking about schedule books here. Not clothes, not shoes, and definitely not books. Yes, the 2009s have been dominating the shelves of Kinokuniya since months ago. I've already gotten mine as usual. The early bird gets the worms. This year, I decided to stick on to Disney. It seem like I've been using it for 3 years ongoing. From the silly chipmunks to Disney classics. This year, I opted for Marie. I am just such a dork for Disney, I'm still 7 at heart you see.
My nerdies decided to quit on me too. It looks like I need a new pair. Such memories this pair has brought me. Since the start of NAFA to the end and on to my slacking days.

Okay so S & I decided we should work. Think hair dye costs, wavy hair costs and all

So yeaaaah, Topshop's pay isn't exactly impressive but it's still fine, not sure if we're going for that though. And Mooks too, but some are telling me they don't recruit girl mookies anymore but the male mookie said yes they still do. so... gotta check and shortlist! The old english female examiner seemed so strict,
I never thought she will even let me off for my aural.
After all, my teacher say female examiners have very high standards.
So she can't believe that i will even get merit.

My theory teacher say she used to have a very friendly examiner but her result was a disaster.

Today was my Grandmother Otts' birthday. My mom's mom. I won't say how old she is. I hope she has many more. I am really going to miss everyone SO MUCH! My uncle James and cousin Austin came over and I was asleep and I heard him come in and I sat up and he goes, "Hello cousin Jor-jen" and he patted my face and then he got up on the couch and snuggled with me! He rarely ever pays a lot of attention to me but lately he's been wanting to play with me more, so he sat in my lap FOREVER just talking to me and singing to himself. He named my mom's fish Spiderman and Ironman. Then he sitting in my lap and he goes, "God made everything right?" and I said, "Yes" and then he goes, "Mom said God lives in my heart" and I said, "Yes He does." And then he said, "Well, there's one thing God didn't make." And I said, "No God made everything." And he said, "Not the sun" and I said, "Yes He did. He made the sun and the moon and the earth and your Mommy and Daddy and you too." and then he said, "He didn't make the moon though." And I laughed and said, "He made the moon too." And then his eyes got really big and he said, "Whoa!" Then he played with my cell phone, and he wanted me to take pictures of him. He is SUCH a ham. I think he's going to be a model. His mom takes a billions of pictures of them and she takes them to have their picture made at photography studios all the time so I guess he's used to it and he likes it. Most kids HATE to sit still long enough to have their picture made, but he would sit down and stand up and cock his head to one side, put his hands on his wait, look over his shoulder. You would have thought he had a contract with Ford or Elite or something. Then he wanted to be the one to take pictures, so I showed him how to take pictures of himself but I had to hold the camera while he pushed the button. He seemed amazed that he could take a self portrait. He's smart for a 4 year old. He repeats EVERYTHING though. And he sings a lot. He'll walk around singing Row, Row Your Boat for EVER. He took me on an "adventure" too. He grabbed my hand and he made me walk around the parts of the property he's allowed to walk on in my pajamas. We're out on the farm and no one can see me if I walk around in my pajamas, but I would never have done that in a hundred years if he hadn't insisted. He kept saying, "We're going on a short cut" but then he walked me around in circles and up and down hills and all over the place, telling me about the farm as if I'd never been here before! lol! He's such a sweet little thing. I am going to hate it when I don't get to see him as often as I do now.
I'll try not to think about it...
Anyway. I'm going to get some laundry done and clean up, eat something, and then lay down and rest.

I have a lot of jewelry and stuff that I only wear on Halloween or Christmas because they have like, pumpkins or snowflakes on them, and I have some panties with a pumpkin on them that I wear only at Halloween, and I have a pretty black shirt with a spooky scene on it in sequins. Its like a big moon with bats and I only wear that at Halloween. I have a tank top with penguins in Santa hats I wear at Christmas... I have a scarf I knitted that's red and green and white... um... I have some tights with spiders and spiderwebs and some with skulls and cross bones.

I am still sick, but feeling better. I'm not going back to work until Wednesday. I was off today and I was supposed to work tomorrow, but I told them I would be recovering still and then I am off Sunday through Tuesday. My shower thing is Monday. I decided to come to the farm with my mom to recoup from my illness, and I went with her, my grandmother, and my aunt Rachel to the Southern Women's show. It was fun. I bought some Christmas gifts and a few things for myself. Afterwards we ate at Romano's Macaroni Grill and laughed so much that as we were leaving some man said, "You ladies are having too much fun!". I still feel bad though, but laughter is the best medicine. My fever broke yesterday and I am not going to have much time left to enjoy the company of my family, so I am trying to spend time with them despite my... whatever it is I have.
Stephen got our rings back. He sent me pictures of them on my cell phone and my family and I gushed over them.
Tomorrow I don't know what we're going. Chilling out I guess. I am sure I'll spending my time sleeping as much as possible, and taking lots of medicine... haha.
I bought two books. I decided that since this Twilight saga about vampires is so popular, everyone must be crazy about it for a reason. So I decided to check it out and got the first two books. So far I am impressed. The writing style feels familiar and easy to me, and its not such a far stretch from Anne Rice that I am having trouble keeping up with the vampire-y-ness of the books... For me, if its not Anne Rice, then its not a book about vampires... but this is good. I was surprised. Its a bit immature for my reading level though, I have to say. I don't like reading about teenagers. I was a teenager, I hated it, I'm past it. I'm done reading about it. I hated high school, I don't want to read a book about a teenager who has crappy two-faced friends and who is having trouble relating to her parents and peers. I lived that. I was that girl not so very long ago, I don't want to read about it. Although it is somewhat refreshing that the author isn't writing about a girl for whom everything is perfect until Mr. Right comes along and then the one obstacle in her path is getting him to like her, which she eventually does do and THEN everything is perfect again. Real life is not like that. And again, I don't want to read about real life, otherwise I'd read my own livejournal, but I'm not interested in reading about a fairy princess either. I want a little bit of real and a little bit of fake. I almost typed that I don't want to read about Cinderella, but I LOVE Cinderella, and Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty, and Little Mermaid! Why? Because they had to struggle first! It makes them relatable!
Anyway. Its good so far, is the point I'm trying to make.
Also, I love it here on the farm, and I always have. I love the open-ness, and the country-ness, and how no one can bother me. I have 40 acres do what I please on. I love it, I love it, I love it. You can see the stars exceptionally well. Even on the beach with Stephen when we were looking out over the vast expanse of the ocean and looking at the stars together... it doesn't compare at all to the clarity and the sense of perfection. There's no smog and no city lights to cover it up. Almost every night is completely cloudless, and the stars are so much easier to see in the fall than any other time. I love to stand there and just... gaze. Just to look up and see and sense how small I am. How truly amazing is God's creation. I love to feel small, it makes what I do each day seem less significant, which makes it stress me out less. It helps remind me that the world will not end over small details. It helps me remind me that God is in control, not me.
Maybe more people should look at the stars...

Though Justin and I have not been exclusive for quite some time, these rumors are very confusing and hurtful. I can’t comment on whether they are true or false.”

“Here we go again… I woke up this morning in a unfortunately familiar situation. Once again someone has mysteriously called Perez Hilton and had him post another insane and completely false rumor about me. Hmmmmmm… I wonder who it could be? I’m baffled… What kind of person would enjoy watching blogs and the press tear me apart? I really wish I could figure out who would do this. Who is someone that I do not get along with, that possibly has too much time on his hands (between pathetically staged paparazzi shots), that has a relationship with Perez…? No one comes to mind. If anyone can figure it out can you please let me know because I am truly stumped. The rumor I’m referring to is that I “hooked up” with Audrina’s non-boyfriend Justin.(eww.) This accusation is insulting on so many levels. I’m being accused of being a bad friend, a slut and a liar all at once. It would actually be funny to me if people weren’t taking it seriously. Do they think I was swept away by his wonderful manners and his commitment to my friend? I love it when guys burp in my face. So hot! Seriously?? I have never even been in the same place as Justin when Audrina wasn’t around. I have been there for Audrina for years of ups and downs with this guy. Now she is accusing me of hooking up with him?? It’s the most awkward position to put me in because I can’t defend myself without putting both her and Justin down. Bottom line, I did not and would never hook up with Justin. The worse thing is knowing that a friend, that I’ve known for years and even shared a home with, thinks that I’m capable of that kind of betrayal. I would NEVER hurt a friend like that! Audrina - We promised we wouldn’t let people get into our ears and make us fight. You KNOW I didn’t do this and I have never given you a reason not to trust me. What you are doing is hurtful and I don’t want to fight with you. Whoever is telling you these things does not have your best interest at heart. I have always been there for you and now I’m being attacked for something I didn’t do. We are supposed to be there for each other when other people do this to us and today you are the one doing it to me. Today you are the reason people are saying mean things about me. You asked me if I did this and I told you I didn’t.”

So did i mention how isanely shitty this past week was?! Because it was the epitomie of BAD.
The whole thing with cam pratically drived me up the mental house & finding out the guy...
I took the first step to go out with shut me down for another girl but still thinks its great to message me.
Like he did yesterday. My god. BOYS SUUUUUCK!. I dont understand them @ all.
Really if it wasnt for my friends being there like they were i would of have burried myself in a Hole.
& Never would of came out!!. One of my good friends gave me this "Get well" card & it was so sweet.
Like words could not describe it was so sentimental & i absolutely <3 it. "You deserve everything good in life". Just AWWWWW. i would write it all out but i would probally cry from it being so touching. =) like yesterday when i recieved it..
My day was turned right side up because my week has been upside down![ILY MEAGAN!!] & Yeah. In TV News I also missed Bones,Heroes,Chuck,Pushing Daisies - I honestly did lose interest in my shows during the state i was in.
But i've bounced back & now im happpy as a duck! Ahaha. YAAAAY! HAPPY TGIF!!!. *HUGZ*.
[TV Marathon this weekend if possible] & Yeah im not going to Hedley! *Cries* but my friend selina is getting me a shirt!
So its all goooood in the hood! =) I'll just post some more jaaakey so i can drown in my sorrows! LOL.
