Amy Grant in 1982 when her album 'Age To Age' was released.

Amy is now 47 years old. Recently she came out with an new album called
'Rock of Ages...Hymns and Faith' released in 2005.

Amy's singing career started 1977 as a teenager of 16. Her big break was in 1982 with the album 'Age to Age'. Her genre of music is mostly Contemporary Christian with a mix of Pop.

She also helped with the reality Tv show 'Three Wishes'. In 1987 she had a son named Matthew Garrison while recording her album 'Lead Me On'. 2 more years later she had another child. Amy's daughter was named Gloria Mills.

'Heart In Motion' was the breakthrough that made Amy a mainstream pop star.

Other albums most known are 'Heart in Motion', 'House of Love' and 'Behind The Eyes'.

(1) The 'Age to Age' album cover reminds me a lot of Amy Acker from AtS



(2) I *loved* her 'Lead Me On' album when I was a freshman--it was my soundtrack for that year. Woah.

I love this gal and her voice. Her Christmas album (the one with 'Tennessee Christmas') is a must-play during the holidays at my house. And her semi-drama-filled situation with Vince Gill was intriguing!

I used to love her when I was younger... Until she ran off with Vince Gill, ending her marriage to Gary Chapman.

Not a very "Christian" thing to do, & that's coming from a fellow faith-er, so no drama... I'm just stating my opinion.

you forgot her third child with Gary Chapman, little Sarah...and then after she married Vince Gill, they had Corrina.

Amy was the first concert i ever went to...the first cassette tape i ever owned was Unguarded...and she is still one of my most favoritest singers ever.
