About:We are the inner circle- the best of the best. This isn't a community where you come to learn some stupid shit about checkers or skanking or something pop punk kids who latched onto upstrokes invented/bastardized- this is about roots and culture. If you don't know it, then you probably don't belong here. If you don't LIVE it, you probably don't belong here. We want the people who don't just listen to the music, we want the people who the music gets written about. This isn't some ska babysitting corral for all the teenie boppers who heard the Skatalites one time and now call themselves fans of "first wave ska". Your age doesn't really matter, but if you act like you're 16, you're not going to make the cut. There are more than plenty of shithole communities for you to join if you can't keep up, so save us your tears and your bitterness cause the big bad skinheads and rude boys told you to fuck off. We don't care.
