The Gift

His sat on the coffee table in the living room.  Frogger.  Mindless distraction of his med school days.  In those days, it helped him think during those mind-numbing all-nighters.  Focus when he was dead tired, 100 pages left to read, coming off a late night gig in some Baltimore jazz club.  Now it served a different purpose.  Now the stupid game futilely tried keeping his mind off the gnawing pain in his leg.  And the image of a shooter looming above him as he nearly drowns in his own blood.  It was an image that hovered never far away when awake, and haunted his sleep nightly.

Now that this has been up and running for a little more than a week, I want to thank all who've joined and participated (or just joined). I'm trying to publicize a bit, and since I'm new at it, I'm not sure of the best ways. So, if you want to recommend the site on various boards and communities, I would greatly appreciate it. This LJ does not require membership, but joining helps me get a good handle on the number of folks stopping by. So, again, if you stop by, and like what you see, join or place yourself as a "watcher."

Also, for those who don't know, I'm more known in the fandom as "sasmom" as that is my posting name on most House and Hugh Laurie fandom boards. In fanfic, I usually post as "barbara barnett." Just FYI ;)

Let me know which past season episodes for which you'd like reviews posted and I'll try to accomodate. I have to confess that the next couple of weeks will be horrendously busy for me (occupational hazard at this time of year for me). But I will try to post at least one previous season episode before Tuesday, so let me know if you all have any preferences.
