Welcome to Good House Icons! This is a community where people can post high-quality House icons and graphics. This community is by invitation only, meaning you have to apply to gain posting access. We will only accept really good icons. We look at things like unique and creative cropping, gorgeous colors, great texture/brush use, excellent text skills and awesome effects.
R U L E S
1. NO requests. There are plenty of communities that take requests, this is not one of them.
2. Please be respectful when taking other people's icons. Remember to credit them and follow THEIR rules as well as ours. There is NO bashing on this site.
3. When posting, please put a teaser with 2-4 icons. Everything else should be under a cut that either leads to your journal or is posted directly to this one. It will save a lot of back-clicking for the person viewing the icons. All the posts MUST have icons, because what's the point if it doesn't?
4. When applying, make the subject of the post 'you get what you need' so we know you read the rules.
5. DO NOT post bases, brushes, gradients, textures or stock images. This is not a goodies community.
6. DO NOT try to join this community without an invite, you will be denied. Please apply at the application post. If you are accepted, you will get an invite and can join.
7. If you don't get in, you have 2 weeks to improve and you can submit again. DO NOT re-apply before 2 weeks and DO NOT get pissed off if you don't get in.
8. YOU MUST RECEIVE AT LEAST 2 YES ANSWERS OUT OF THE MODS. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO POST UNTIL YOU'RE INVITED.
FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED:
1. When taking icons please be respectful of the individual posters rules. Remember to always credit properly.
2. Please don't apply if you're not going to post. Just watch the community if you want to snag icons. Apply only if you intend on posting.
