I noticed your comment in stupidpetowners. I completly agree with what you said. My mom started a rescue here (ohio), and in the past few years, we had to put down at least five female labs. They were not good with children or strangers. They were just completly un-adoptable. Our one member was attacked and ended up getting 21 stitches from her own yellow lab. I even fosterd a golden that bit my younger brother.

But just remember, pits are the baby eaters *rolls eyes*

Ack!! Why doesn't anyone call the papers when they get bit by labs? :) Plus, so many people let their dogs get away with so much crap, it's unbelievable.

If either of my dogs bit me (or anyone, but especially family) on purpose, off to sleep they'd go. Of course, I'd be with them and bawling my eyes out the whole time, but dogs who bite their people shouldn't be kept. I like the security of knowing that I can put my hands anywhere on my dogs, including their mouths, without getting bit.
