Welcome to hotterpeads, an LJ community to meet other HP fans, talk about the books/movies, and post whatever-you-so-fancy. We don't have too many rules, and we're fairly leniant on adding people. We don't add based on previous friendships or looks; everyone is judged fairly. The main reason you will be rejected from the community is if you are not a true Harry Potter fan.

Here are a few rules. They're not crazy or hard to follow; they're fairly simple.




1. You must be a member to post in the community. To become a member, you should fill out the form below, put it in a comment at this link and put "teach us something please" as your subject line so we know you read the rules. Do not request membership before you fill out the application. If you are accepted, we will send you an invite.


2. Any petty drama, for any reason, will not be tolerated. Keep drama in your personal journals. If you start anything on here, you will be given a warning. After three warnings, you will be permanently banned from the community due to immaturity.


3. All posts must be friends only.


4. Do not pimp any other journals, communities, or websites. If you want to post icons or fanfiction, please make sure they're linked to the community - do not put "follow the link to my journal!"-type links.


5. Post anything spoiler-related under a cut. Keep in mind not everyone has read as far as you have, nor have they seen as many movies as you.


6. Off-topic conversations are welcome, but please don't OD on off-topic conversations.


More rules will be added as we see fit.
