If you're new to the concept, 'hott baguettes' is the term/name used for the slash pairing that is Pierre Bouvier and David Desrosiers from the pop punk band from montreal called Simple Plan. We do not state here that this relationship is true in any shape or form, we just like to pretend that it is for the sake of two very, very attractive guys being together.

We, the mods, are aware that this community had been closed down and deleted/purged this time last year. This entire year has been 'hott baguettes'-less. That has not been cool with me and my co-mods, so after much debating and talking, we decided to buy a fifteen dollar coupon and buy the community back. We are aware of certain backlash we might possibly get for this, but we three can assure all of you that we have no connections whatsoever to the past community. We are not the original mods. We have none of the old posts in this community. Everything from the past that had been posted in hott_baguettes has been completely swiped clean, so please do not freak out on us. This is a new, fresh start.

All three of us have a strong love for p/d and we promise to be here to take care of this community for a long time. We are really unsure as to why the community wasn't put into the hands of people like us to take over it before it's deletion, so please don't ask us questions. Hott Baguettes is Pierre/David. There are no other exceptions. We couldn't let this UN just sit and rot away, we want it to come back and stay.

In the timespan of the next few days, we are going to get to working on fixing up the community to make it sparkle and shine! We figured to just give all of you that see that the community is back a quick explanation! Please feel free to join, the membership is open and anyone can join. The community as a whole will be up and ready to go in a handful of days.

There are a few rules we'd like you to follow for this community, nothing too difficult or tough to accomplish.
a) Please only join if you have a love for p/d. Do not come in here to bash the pairing.
b) Every post needs to be accepted by a mod before appearing in the community. Anything posted that has nothing to do with p/d will automatically be rejected.
c) Posting pictures/something long? Make sure it's under a lj cut!
d) Fanfiction, pictures, videos and manips of the pairing are welcomed! Post as much of that stuff as you wish to!
e) Every post must be friends only, for the sake of everyone's privacy. If it's not friends only, the entry will automatically be rejected.

Last but not least, please be kind to each other! Respect is the golden rule. We're all here for one purpose, and that is to share the love of p/d around. :) Welcome back, hott_baguette-ers!
