Joining:
Step 1: You must be 18+
Step 2: Make a post in the community telling everyone a little about yourself and include a pic(s) of you (1 or more showing your face (mandatory) - plus any more that you like). Initial pics must be G-PG! After you are approved, you will then be allowed to post R+ pics. If you can't post a pic initially then just make a post telling us something about you :) Then post a pic of you later.

Note: All pics MUST be posted using the LJ cut command (If you don't know how to do this, feel free to ask!) ESPECIALLY R-XXX pics!! Any posts with R/X pics found not using the LJ cut command will be deleted.
Note: ALL R and X pics MUST be marked FRIENDS ONLY to prevent non members (people under 18) from viewing them. Also, The Pictures that are posted MUST be of you Or you must have the rights to post the picture!

What is bear/cub (in general, and by my personal definitions)?
A thin, avg, stocky, heavy/chubby, large, or muscular hairy man (meaning you have a LEAST a hairy chest!) with or without facial hair, and of any age (18+). This basically covers Cubs, Otters, Wolves, Bears, Silver/Grey Wolf, and Polar Bears.
ALSO: Non-bear/cubs who admire/like bears/cubs/etc are more than welcome to join as well!!
2) Any derogatory, harrassment, flaming, etc will get you banned and reported to LJ for TOS violations.
3) Positive comments are highly encouraged, however, you can feel free to post comments like "Cute, but not my type" or " Sorry, don't find that pic attractive" ... things like that in a non insulting way as long as they don't violate LJ TOS. A good rule here is try to stick to the old addage: "If you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all."
4) ALL POSTS CONTAINING R or X pics MUST be MARKED as a FRIENDS ONLY POST. This will keep people who are <18 who may read this group from seeing them.
If you get banned, to get unbanned, simply join the community or contact the above mentioned moderators, and we'd be happy to unban you :) As long as you're not a jerk :)
