---------------------------------------- -----------
Junsu sits in his seat, squirming because he's thinking of Yunho when he should really be enjoying his time with Yoochun. It's rare that they were allowed to go out and spend some time alone together but the image of his hyung out and alone on the balcony as he think is one he can't get out of his mind.
Turning to Yoochun, he sees that the other is enraptured by the movie. A glance at the audience tells him he's the only one not watching.
In a split second decision, Junsu nudges his date and tells him he has to go to the restroom. He doesn't wait for the nod before he stands up, mumbling "excuse me" to every person he has to pass.
Locking himself in the farthest stall, he takes out his phone and dials Yunho's number, listening to it ring as he waits for his hyung to pick up.
"Hyung," he says into the phone before Yunho can properly answer.
"Junsu-ah, I thought you and Yoochun were watching a movie."
"We are," he answers. "I'm just worried about you, that's all."
"You don't have to worry. I'm suppose to be taking care of you guys remember?"
"Mmm...but when hyung is down or sad, when something is wrong with hyung, I want to be the one to help him."
Though he can't see it, Junsu can feel Yunho's smile through the phone. "You do more than you know Junsu."
"You're still not happy though."
"Few people are."
Junsu doesn't know how to respond as he stands there, back pressed against the dooor, feeling incredibly lost. "Hyung, who am I to you?"
He can hear the sharp intake of breath before his the other answers, "The one I'm happily drowning for."
It's his turn to take in that sharp breath of air. "Oh." He says that because its the only response he can think of.
"Yea." He swears he can hear Yunho laughing slightly.
Both stay silent, not knowing how else to continue the conversation.
"Yoochun's waiting for you," Yunho urges.
"Don't...don't hang up," he replies. "Let's just...stay like this."
"Okay," the older boy answers.
And so that stay, listening to each other breathe until Yoochun comes looking for him. Then and only then does he tell Yunho he has to go. When Yoochun finally finds him, asks him what's wrong, the only answer he gives is that he wants to go home. Without questions, Yoochun does as he asks.
When they walk through the door, Yunho is there in the livingroom to greet them, smiling brightly but now he can see it, right there in his hyung's eyes; the pain and loneliness he's been carrying for how long Junsu doesn't know.
Unconciously, he removes his hand from Yoochun's grasp and smile back at Yunho as best he can before running off to his room, leaving a hurt Yoochun behind. Yunho drops is smile and looks away in shame.
Later, when Junsu wakes up screaming, terrified because of a nightmare, he tiptoes his way into Yunho's room. He walks in to find that his hyung is lying on his bed, awake in the dark.
He stands there, not sure what to do. It's not that he sees Yunho differently, it's just that everything can get complicated.
As Yunho opens the covers and Junsu slides in next to him, his hyung's arms wrapping around his middle, he finds that for the first time since he returned with Yoochun, he is finally at peace.
He's always been plagued with nightmares and when he met Yunho, he found out that his hyung is the only one who can chase all those bad feelings away. Ever since then, whenever he has a nightmare, he comes to Yunho and he feels safe again.
Being in Yunho's arms has never been uncomfortable. To him, it was the most natural thing in the world, more natural than with Yoochun. With the other, he has to force himself to loosen up, to relax.
That night, in Yunho's arms, Junsu realizes the truth, he wants to be with Yunho, have always wanted to be with him, not Yoochun. He doesn't know how he's going to do that. How is DBSK going to survive this? He also doesn't want to hurt Yoochun but he can't be with him either. He's in love with Yunho and though he doesn't know what's going to happen in the future with them, he knows nothing will happen if he's with Yoochun. How do you chose between hurting your dreams and the one who's always been nothing but loving to you, and wanting to be with the one you love?
He feels his hyung tightens his arms around him and Junsu decides he can think about it the next day. Right then, he only wants to feel Yunho's warmth surrounding him.
---------------------------the end--------------------------------
A/N: now don't all of you feel bad for Yoochun?...haha...thank you all for reading...
